Silver Dot
Every time I boot it up, it just dies. No error message, nothing. I'm back at the desktop. It's been a while since I had steam open because it forgot my password, and steam support reset it recently. I reinstalled Garry's Mod and still, nothing. I have more than one source game. What the hell, I wanna play ZS. Quote Link to comment
Damien
What operating system are you using, because gmod gave a lot of trouble when i used xp for a while ? Have you checked the integrity ? is one other source game fully downloaded and opened atleast once ? Quote Link to comment
Silver Dot
Windows 7, it's always worked for me before. I verified the game cache twice, I believe. I recently reformatted and got a new rig. I opened CSS and Garry's Mod AND TF2 at least once. Edited May 9, 2011 by Silver Dot Quote Link to comment
Deluvas
If the game crashes at start, check your Steam folder/dumps (if I remember well), and grab the latest .dmp file. If there is one, upload it to http://dumps.garrysmod.com/, then paste the details, so we can see why it crashes. Quote Link to comment

Deluvas
Well, that's interesting. Did you delete the local game cache (the garrysmod folder inside your steam name folder) when you re-installed it?It seems like you're experiencing the crash before the game was updated by Garry.
