The disconnection bug is fixed (it was because of the MC 1.2.4 update). The random lag is something we're looking into.

I find it scary. Which means it's good. lol Well in all honestly. I expected worse and the gameplay is quite nice. Has some minor glitches here and there and still a bit blocky. But I enjoyed it.
