Do yourself a favour and don't buy a "gaming headset" unless you want something with bad build and sound quality. It's always better to buy headphones + a seperate microphone because these products are aimed at sound and also often build quality. Unless you're really careful with the gaming headsets they will break while you might have a decent pair of headphones for years without it breaking and so you will both get superior sound quality you will also save money by not buying the cheap stuff. Since you haven't said a budget yet i can only recommend you brands. Sennheiser, AKG, Grado, Audio Technica are some of the major headphone brands which have great build and sound quality so you should look around for headphones from these brands and just buy the cheapest microphone you can find since it's only for games. I have an microphone from Zalman which costed me 6 euro which works just as great, if not better, than most other headsets. Edit: Forgot about Beyerdynamic. So add Beyerdynamic to your search list. Edit 2: Remembered another brand, Shure.
