The population has declined massively compared to 8 years ago. But it makes sense. It's an old game with no new players coming in. However in some evenings there are roughly 10 players online. Which is considered a lot these days. Best you can do is ping people on Discord. We do the occasional events but these don't really help a lot sadly.

Good to hear you're back. A small update about MTA. Over the last year the community has changed quite a bit. The population may have declined but the nice people have remained, especially in race. Some maps you've made weren't so good relatively to the other maps so they needed to be improved upon. I hope you can understand this. It would be fun to have you around again in mix and/or race. Interesting, haven't seen this before. Since you're talking about a new PC make sure that: You have installed the latests GPU Drivers Installed a legal version of GTA San Andreas (pirated sometimes can cause issues) Restarted your PC since this issue appeared If any of these don't help go to `MTA San Andreas 1.6\mods\deathmatch\resources` and delete this entire folder. This will cause all server resources to be re-downloaded. If the issue still appears let me know.

Great idea, these kinds of cycles are also possible and highly appreciated. If you have similar idea's to this let me know With the current code base this is not possible, but it should be relatively easy to implement. I've added this option to the poll

Over the past year, all votes on the mix server have been truly random, resulting in any game mode potentially appearing on the voting screen. However, this led to a disproportionate number of "Never the Same" (NTS) maps being played, especially when there was a high number of NTS enthusiasts online, with NTS maps making up around 90% of the selections. As a result, other game modes received significantly less playtime. To address this issue, I have decided to reintroduce the gamemode cycle. This means that the voting screen will now cycle through the various gamemodes in the following order: NTS -> Shooter (SH) -> Destruction Derby (DD) -> Reach the Flag (RTF). This adjustment aims to ensure that every player has the opportunity to enjoy their preferred gamemodes while maintaining a more balanced distribution of gameplay across all modes. It's worth noting that Capture the Flag (CTF) and Deadline (DL) modes are disabled from this cycle. Therefore, I'm seeking input on the matter: Would you like to see this cycle implemented, continue with true random voting, or suggest an alternative cycle? Your feedback is appreciated.

Unforunately, on the 1st of March 2024 we awoke to find our forums compromised. Essentially, someone discovered the login information for an inactive administrator account. While they had access to this account, they were able to vandalize the website and, more importantly, obtain confidential information. This information includes: Usernames Email Addresses IP Addresses used at the time of account creation Birthdays and any other public info Positively, there is no reason to think that the compromised account could have managed to leak any login credentials or password information. We store login information according to best practices, which means that all passwords are salted and hashed in case they managed to accomplish this. Despite this, it is our recommendation that you change your password anywhere you may have used it. After speaking to other community members and conducting a thorough review, it has become apparent that Avezy's private chat with Hitman included instances of racism. This behavior is entirely unacceptable and goes against the values of our community. We understand that tensions can run high, but maintaining a respectful and positive atmosphere is crucial for the well-being of our community. Given the severity of the situation, I've reconsidered my initial stance on reaching a resolution. It appears that finding common ground between both players might not be possible at this time. As a result, Avezy will be subject to a 14-day ban, starting immediately. The ban will be lifted on the 4th of February. We believe that this temporary measure will allow for some time to reflect on the situation and encourage a more positive interaction moving forward. At this time, no action will be taken against Mentor. However, we do hope that both parties can take this as an opportunity to reassess their interactions and contribute to a more harmonious community. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these matters.

I've checked out the screenshots you provided about Avezy's behavior, and I appreciate you bringing it to our attention. It's essential to maintain a positive environment for everyone. However, I also got a batch of screenshots from Avezy showing instances where they felt insulted by you. It seems like there's some back-and-forth happening. Rather than jumping straight to a ban, can we try and sort this out? Let's encourage Avezy and you to have a direct chat, maybe clear the air a bit. People have their off days, and sometimes things get misinterpreted online. I believe we can find a solution and avoid resorting to extreme measures. Our goal is to keep the community enjoyable for everyone, and I'm confident we can work things out. If you're open to it, let's promote some open dialogue and understanding. Together, let's improve the overall experience in the Mix community. However, if a resolution can't be reached by the 27th of January, regrettably, we may have to consider more drastic measures, including a temporary ban for both Mentor and Avezy, to ensure the wellbeing of the community. Witchy protected his position which is not blocking and thus allowed, but this is frowned upon by most people as well. You left the race and purposely hit Witchy as revenge, which is blocking since you're not participating the race anymore. Closed
