  1. I'm not going to complain about the store prices. If people are too impatient to craft or wait for drops, let em spend money. Good for Valve. For everyone else nothing changed.

  6. I do get the feeling that TF2 is hitting the boundary of being overfeatured... the duelling they added doesn't work at all in any normal match. Wonder how that ever passed playtesting.

  8. Apparently there are some 'rare' weapons going around that create particle effects and stuff. Read: flamethrower with green flames etc.
  9. Still waiting on how the shop will change the game's atmosphere. Likely not much, if at all. The nametags seems abusable (but ridiculously expensive at the same time). Couldn't care less how people obtained hats, buying is just as lazy as idling in my opinion. Did buy a can of paint to try out the shop (and I'm not gonna die for spending 2.50). Now I gotta decide what to paint green. Probably the demo hat I'm going to craft soon.

  11. +1 award of Ultimate Nerddom It does that in the free version, but it's also very easy to grief with it (you can't just block the source to stop the flow). Plus you won't have underground rivers and such.
  12. My clusterfuck of ideas, zs_clav_chaossystem. Untested gameplay but it should work out. Zombies can spread all over the map through teleporters at their spawn. The humans will have a great time being lost in the mazes. (REMOVED: see post somewhere below for fixed version) Also easter egg wallwritings all over the place, mainly related to community members!
  13. Holy christ on a stick. That is awesome. Might be awesome to generate a floating islands map for the server once.
  14. It probably will. If you're using expensive fog (which is basically particle spam) in areas, make sure the client isn't rendering much else, and don't overdo it. Just compare the framerate in your map to that of other good maps. Framedrop =/= lag. Learn the difference!

  23. If I can make a few global suggestions: remove 'random' occurrences (like "5% chance of x when you do y") except for obvious things like the dice. Another one of my suggestions concerns the whole thing with numbers / percentages everywhere. "35% more this", "21.22222% less that". Nice and all for the WoW nerds but I think it's better design to use things like "does less" or "does more".
