Well I just filled the entire place with working seats (which are 288 seats on the non-VIP area benches alone) and I'm still running at 100+ fps on my laptop. Don't think it'll be a problem.

Can you choose an individual seat to sit in or does pressing E just move you to a fixed position like on the current map? Individual seats. I made custom entities (that'll be included with the gamemode) which create seat positions. Still have to test if it doesn't cause performance issues though.

Think I'll replace the bench models with brushes. The models cause quite a framedrop. EDIT: Nevermind, budget debug tells me it's the lights. For some reason it automatically creates a ton of dynamic lights...

Yeah, I got it from fpsbanana (I can only browse that website using IE, for some reason it takes ages to load pages in Firefox, or they don't load at all. Have to use a crappy browser for a crappy website )

A weird problem with my Hammer editor (maybe the whole Source sdk?)

It's because the TF2 update also changed the shaders, which fucked over Hammer. Running in DX80 mode brings its own problems. Compiling doesn't always produce good results and some props and other things act weird. -
Don't use clipping when it's clearly visible. And try to match fog settings with the actual skybox.
