Ugh, I'm seriously going to impose a rule against people claiming "this topic should be locked". You're both bumping it back up and backseat moderating at the same time. Ignore a topic if you don't have anything useful to add.

They modeled him after the writer because they had no freaking budget for professional model. They did in part 2.

I'm no expert so I asked VMR to do some research, and I've taken his advice.

After some research I've decided on the following for now: tickrate back to 66 and sv_airaccelerate from 150 to 100.

What exactly is it 'supposed to be'. In every game it's modeled towards a different actor. Even in the graphic novels they're completely different. You're not really making a point here.

Look at the difference between Max Payne 1 and Max Payne 2, they changed his face there too. It's a bit of artistic freedom. Nothing wrong with the Max Payne 3 face, it's all about the voice.

So you want yet another standardized Adonis-look-a-like superhero? I'm glad they're taking him to different places. Max Payne as a character gets a lot more development this way.

Who gives a shit, it looks like a Max Payne game to me. Do you want them to stick to abandoned warehouses in midnight New York or something? All you need for a Max Payne game is bullet-time and James McCaffrey narrating.

Each group needs its own name. I'll call them aFaction 1 and aFaction 2 for now. Another note: if your group is not complete at the start of your first match you're automatically disqualified.

Shovels (diamond so they already cut through snow in one hit) and team armor will be provided on-site. You're not allowed ot bring your own tools or potions. Bringing your own stuff is even discouraged since you'll lose all your shit if you fall in the lava.

Also note that signups will close on Thursday the 5th of April at 23:59.

The Grand Mr. Green Minecraft Factions SPLEEF TOURNAMENT Friday the 6th of April our Minecraft server will host a Spleef tournament (wtf is Spleefing?) in which a groups of players are pitted against each other in this popular Minecraft sport! The tournament starts on the 6th of April at 20:00 GMT on our Minecraft Faction Wars server (play.minecraft.nl). Use the gateway at coordinates (230, -55) (on our live map) to reach the arena location. The participating groups will be split in tournament brackets. There will be plenty of spots for spectators! Do join this event even if you're not participating. Where do I sign up If you want to participate, you 3 member from the same faction (including yourself). Think of a name for your group and post the following info in this topic: Your group name The Minecraft names of all 3 group members Signups are now closed! The group rules are as follows: No more or less than 3 members from the same faction Multiple groups can be signed up from a single faction (so if your faction has 15 members you can have 5 groups) A player can only be signed up in one group Signups close on Thursday the 5th of April after 23:59. Game rules The winner is the group that is left standing (all opponents drowned in lava). If the blocks are broken in such a way that two groups can no longer reach each other (islands) then the group with the largest island wins. If the islands are about the same size the field will be reset. You are not allowed to hurt other players directly, you're only allowed to use the supplied tools, you're not allowed to place blocks. During the tournament, if your group is not complete at the start of the match you are automatically disqualified.
