  1. Al right I've done things as follows: Payload / CP is now only Payload with the inbuild mapvote. Max rounds is 4 so both teams defend and attack twice. Arena now has a round limit of 13 and a win limit of 7, meaning that once a team wins 7 rounds the map switches. So if one team keeps on winning the map switches sooner.
  2. MC server didn't have the time to save anything before it crashed again (and it didn't quit on its own after I terminated its supporting process, so I had to kill the MC task which sadly makes it lose everything in memory). There wasn't a backup since we only just started.

  7. No critvote, I'm still not for autoscramble either, map vote was already discussed?, custom arena maps: find me some good ones first, I couldn't.
  8. It's Payload. You get to play as offense and as defense and then the map switches. The better team just wins.
  9. A pure Payload with nominate/mapvote server sounds like an idea. No bots to meet the quickplay criteria (although all our current servers are already 'in good standing' on quickplay).
  10. New map is up and running. I'll upload the previous world backup on monday, the upload speeds at my current location are terrible.

  14. Also note I don't have development time at all. I can't add new GC shop items (coding in SourcePawn is hell anyway), let alone new gamemodes.

    I'd hardly call Crysis 2's graphics poor, but they didn't make as much of an impact as the original. Consoles did seem to limit how much they could do with the environment, everything was much more linear.
  16. As most of our TF2 players will know, our Payload / CP and King of the Hill servers haven't been doing that great, barely getting any players. This morning the TF2 update killed Koth for some mysterious reason so I guess this is as good of a moment as any other to restructure. What will happen: 1) Koth is going to be removed 2) Payload / CP will change, but might be removed altogether if we can't really figure something out for it 3) Arena will stay as-is because it runs fooking great I prefer we change Payload / CP to something where the GC shop items still matter but that's a background issue. There are a few options being thrown around for the Payload server change: 1) TF2 Allround. Make the server have vote options for Payload (Race) / CP / CTF / Koth maps. 2) VS Saxton Hale. My impression: I think the popularity of this mode has faded by now but people can prove me wrong on this. 3) 24/7 instant respawn 64 player 2fort 4) "MR. GREEN ARENA 2 TOURNAMENT NOCRITS NOSPREAD NO SANDMAN ONLY DICKWATS ALLOWED" (actually no) Share your thoughts.

    The engine will just boost graphics up a bit. Nothing will quite match the graphical advancement that was thrown in our face back when the first Crysis was released

  20. GC are linked to your forum account. Linking Steam IDs do not transfer the GC unless that Steam ID wasn't connected before. Just PM me with a link to your old profile and your new profile and I'll fix it.
  21. We have to renew everything from time to time. Give players a clean slate, and new opportunities. We always upload the old map backup on this forum (see pinned topic) in case you want to save your building achievements.
  22. Over 350 players have been banned for xray by now. I hope that this means less xrayers on the next map but the number hasn't really stopped increasing has it

  24. True, you started at 21:00 Dutch time, but Dutch time was at +2, as you can see here: GMT Dutch So 20:00 GMT was (and is) 22:00 Dutch time. My guess is that daylight saving messed up with this stuff (not every country has that). Yeah that's probably it then. :/
  25. We started at 20:00 GMT. Which was 21:00 Dutch time. I don't remember us starting earlier than that.
