  2. Wow. I just looked at the trailer.

    I am in love with post-apocalyptic games, movies and books. Anything that has that post-apocalyptic feeling of collapsed and destroyed houses, enormous empty deserts/tight metropolitants, few to none people, hard survival.. gosh. I love that.

    Crysis 1 was a jungle-massacre which I am not really fond of. Nor the ice & snow of Warhead. But this.. this looks like I'm going to love it.

    After playing it, I actually liked the freedom of the jungle. But, this game has a ton of freedom too. I really dislike the fact that you don't have a quickselection menu where you can choose your powers, but I've only played the (buggy) beta, so hopefully they added in.

    So, even though its leaked; are you going to buy it? I've played the game for a little, after crashing a couple of times.

    It's fun, but the controls are really shabby. I'll personally wait until the demo comes out, so I can really play the game decently.

    Did you guys enjoyed it? Or are you looking forward to it?

  4. Either use 2 env_sprites or 2 point_spotlights. One env_sprite looks unnatural on TL-lights. Also, darkness =/= atmosphere. Light the place up.

    Better spotlight. It is more dynamic.

    About darkness. I just thought the map should have dark lights, because the place is destroyed, OR a few working lights with flicker effect.

    DURRR FLICKER EFFECT

    You have no idea how annoying those things are, they make me go crazy. Maps should be lit up properly, so that players can actually see. The map isn't good if players have to up their brightness just to see the zombies properly. Also, dark lights are good, if they are used correctly and in the correct amount.

    Small explanation:

    Only Stock Weapons.

    No Hat's

    Balance Changes.

    No Mann Co. Store.

    All maps.

    All skins you have in Tf2 right now will transfer.

    It's basically the old TF2 we know and love. I hereby made this topic as a call to make this server an official L4G one.

    A lot of people want this to happen. It could possibly attract regular players to the server.

    If this is wanted, or the Topcrew believes that this could have potential, but doesn't want to host a server; I could possibly host a 12 man non-24/7 server. Though it would suck.

    For any game running on source engine (hl2, css, tf2, hl1source, and probably gmod, if it runs in hl2).

    Boter, the code does appear in any valve's texture. You can try using gcf scape and copy any vmt water texture to load it up in vtfedit. Ofc these are ones of the ways to do them. There are more, but they are similar to easy ways.
