Well there's no whole system with a name but there are waterblocks, pumps and radiators with names. However, Chiken has an asus pc (I think) so most of the parts will be proprietary asus branded parts anyway. Nope it's an acer crap.

1GB version when you have a high resolution (over 1600x e.g) http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Home/Product/47734/Palit-Geforce-GTX-460-1GB-Sonic-Overclocking 768MB Version for lower resolution http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Home/Product/47759/Gainward-GTX-460-Graphics-Card-768MB-GDDR5 Both are good.
Well there are dual cores, which are better than Quad Cores. But you can't compare for example a Phenom X4 with an old Pentium Dual Core^^ Just get normal version. Because I think that you will not get 100% performance from the GTX460 because of your old CPU.
Well. 750Watt is good but it would be better when you post the 12V+ Amperes. (Or make a photo from your PSU decal.) If you want to buy a new GPU, then get a GTX460 or HD5770.
