Do you plug 4 or 8 pin in that slot?

JPWR2 is for your CPU. So you'll need it.
Okay, so why does it freak out when I give power to it?
Whats your Power supply.

More information about your PSU and mainboard would be good.

I5-2500K and a P67 mainboard (Asus P8P67 e.g.) should do it.
Sure your PC is cooler when your case is opened, but it also gets dusty fast.
Also don't forget that BF3 needs a very very good GPU. Whats your current GPU?

You should get a brand power supply (Enermax, Seasonic, BeQuiet, Antec, Coolermaster, Tagan...) because they have security mechanisms like short-circuit protection, overvolting protection etc and they are also much more efficient compared to cheap noname PSUs.
Seems like I don't wan't to save on the powersupply, do they all have the same sizes etc. ?
Cause I don't know much bout powersupplies :S nether do I know what one should be the best for my pc.
Ty math
A ~500 Watt brand PSU is more than enough.
e.g.
BeQuiet L8 530 Watt.

Also: You should really listen to bastinator. Because if you really going to spend 1000€ for your new PC, you should get MUCH better parts.

Overclocking isn't actually a big problem. Although it does give the CPU a shorter lifetime, you probably won't use the CPU for it's entire lifetime anyway and chuck it out after ~5 years. And thus you won't notice.
Can you also explain how to overclock ? and how much you should overclock it max ?
ty
I only know how to overclock on a Socket 775 Intel system. Sandy Bridge systems are completely different because they have no traditional FSB (correct me if I'm wrong).
It's called BCLK. But it's the same

Exactly. When you don't mess up with the VCore and use a decent cooler then it's fine.

Wait. An i5-2500K with a "H61" board? What? Also, why M-ATX? Lol.
bastinators config looks decent.

terminator you absolutely make no sense.
I would advise you to take a closer look at your pictures before "using" them.

Don't get ATI they are fucken shit.
Get a nivida gtx 470 or gtx 560.
Don't get GTX470 it's fucking shit. (Hot temps, loud, high power consumption, "old")
Don't hear to fan boys - their suggestions are fucking shit.

How do you guys like that SSD? It seems fairly cheap for a 128 GB one. Last time I checked not every SSD performed that well, plus not all of them were stable (I think OCZ SSD's had some problems, for example).
So far it's performing well, but I don't have any prior experience to compare it to.
Agreed. PC boot is done in ~28 seconds, software starts superfast etc. etc. Like a SSD!
But it's recommend to update the firmware to 0009 (incase you have the old 0002 like me), because it improves the SSD a bit more and boot times are lower.

I like where this is going.

Just got my new Crucial M4 128GB SSD.
My mainboard is bottlenecking the SSD since I "only" have SATA 300.

Battlelog
oh gawd....

Don't forget to use the newest firmware version (0009) for your Crucial M4

Well you definitely have to use that slot because your CPU gets from this slot power.
Could you describe the "error beeps" a bit precise? Like how often it beeps or how long etc.
Edit: Try to use only one RAM kit and test it on every slot. But do not unplug that 4 pin cable for your CPU.
