This is my character, called Saturnal Moonshine (naturally). Yeah crap quality but in order to make this screen I had to: -Record a bit of gameplay with Unregistered Hypercam 2 -Open the video with Media Player Classic -Make a picture of a frame with Print Screen -Paste and save it in Paint. So enjoy the picutre. Normally, she doesn't wear a necklace, but I'm chasing a royal family, and I need to integrate a little.

So I finally arrived at the Gaybeards, and

BinSlayer's right, but I just want to say you made a pretty cool banner.

I don't have that many hours yet, but compared to my progress in the main quest I probably do. Probably because I walk everything. Yesterday I started walking from Whiterun to the Whitebeards @ somewhere pretty far away. I played a few hours, in which I have only been disturbed by a cave and a Bandit-castle. Apart from that, I have been walking non-stop in which nothing happened, safe a few wolves on the way. And I still haven't arrived. I guess taking the whole path (following the signs) running takes 10 minutes, walking takes hours. But it's still more fun to walk the first time you go somewhere. Running would be... boring. It will probably only make the surroundings look more boring. Walking makes it seem... real, like you're actually hiking there with them. Except in caves and bandit-forts, where the controls still bug me. I can't see shit when I'm walking stairs, and the combat is the worse I've ever seen, even in first-person view. I manage to hit my companion more than the enemies.

That's cheap. If you're gonna cheat, give yourself 10000 lockpicks. That's a better idea.

I dumped Ulthred or something from the Bannered Thingy Inn (I used to be so good with names), for Lydia, cuz Lydia looks hotter. Also, I must say, my first night at the Inn, with the fire, the new-ness, and especially the music, is truly a Crowning Moment Of Awesam. Oh and I stole pretty much everything with a little value from the Jerl's house. PC-Gamers: if you're out of lockpicks, you know you can use the console, right? Click on an object, type: unlock, and the object will be unlocked. I've been using this trick since Oblivion, so I didn't have to invest in lockpicking-skills in F:NV.

Okay, now that I played some more, it indeed got boring. Another reason is that I'm pretty much constanty in sneak mode, unless I'm in town. And going slow in sneak mode is a bit too much. I still always walk in towns/cities/whatever house or place with humans. It's a matter of principle.

If you guys want any indication of the way I play these kinds of games... Right now I'm in the Inn with the dude with the guitar. So far, I've only WALKED, I've never ran or sprinted. Trust me, it gets way more beautiful this way. I will probably use run in the future ONLY for places that I've been already, apart from that I will only walk. Also, no fast-traveling allowed. It really makes the nature so much more appealing.

Okay, apart from the controls, this game is awesam after all. I followed the guy with a name starting R to his hot sister. I'm supposed to hate Imperials now. People, can you confirm that if you finish the main quest first, you are still able to do all the sidequests? Like, if you finish the main quest, will there be any significant changes in the world? I got traumatized since I played Fallout 3 and decided to start finishing the main quest there, and I ended up getting screwed in the ass.

Hey, am I the only one who thinks that (at least the Dutch) commercial for this game is fucking crap? It plays fucking 99 Problems from Jay-Z. "I got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one", both the lyrics and the song don't fit at all. That, plus the 1-in-a-million videos, and crappy loud sounds at the end of the commercial, are totally unworthy, I guess. Because I never played this game.

About crashes: I figure there will be a lot, I just started playing and it crashed already. Could have been because I already managed to pass the intentory-limit in less than 5 minutes.

Okay so I started the game. I tried to make my girl look just as hot as my Fallout: New Vegas character. I tried, but the outcome is a skinny prostitute-junkie. She looks good from behind, but once you see her face, she's wayyyyy too old. I coudln't make her look any younger. In theory though, she looks awesam. She's a Dark Elf, with creepy eyes and warcolours. I'd like to show you but I can't make screens. But the controls, they suck on ice. Even with Look Sensitivity at over 9000, plus 'fov 80'. I just toggled off the vsync like Cookie said and I'm gonna try again. That blonde guy is getting impatient with me and keeps telling me to look around the room for ammo.

Oh, boy! I'm going to try the game now for the first time! Probably won't work but... if it does... I'm just warning you. After this post I may get so sucked into the game so much I start believing I'm in the game myself, and I might start referring to you as "Citizens" or "Arch-Mages" or whatever term I'll find. Also, I might send you poisoned apples or something. Just, you know, know that if I send you an apple, you shouldn't eat it. That's all. =)
