In response to the nether thing, I'd say that's fair gain. There was some odd glitch where ours and realisms portals switched places (I have no idea how this happened, literally all the structure around it was plonked into our base and vice versa) and I said to them that I would come across the map to unclaim it, and I did, then they killed me just before I unclaimed the oposite nether portal area and didn't say thank you or anything. You then proceeded to try and raid us several times, and have left masses of disgusting cobble structures all around the outside of our base that we can't destroy because YOU claim the land to it, so when you were raiding I came back over and broke it. Ill re-open that door when you unclaim and destroy all that cobble crap outside my base. With your factions track record of horrible gaming attitude on the mc server I'm hardly gonna come and help you out because of good will like I did last time, I even told you I was doing it when you tried to raid for the first time. This is the opinion of my entire faction, I'm just voicing it. That is all. And no I'm not using it as blackmail for raids. Raiding is fine, its part of the server, that's purely because of people in your faction being idiots, I suggest not leaving an unclaimed plot of land with a netherportal outside your base

None the less I've been on an awful lot and rarely seen an admin lately, I'm not undermining your administrative position Corby I was simply saying that it seems like we need more admins. Don't take it the wrong way, I'm sure you'll be on it just as regular as before soon for whatever reason your not atm. Unrelated, isn't it freshers week for you at uni?

I second that, dont care about NPC villages at all.. Lets face it, all we're going to do is kill them straight away anyway. Clavus when you're on come and look at what ive got my faction to make, its incredible!

I've noticed there have been no admins on the server lately, particularly with Corby being away, and quite a few people using hacks and such. A lot of people dont know how to report to l4g despite me explaining to them, so I thought I'd give a shot at applying for Admin since I'm on so often! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dr.Minkys Minecraft officer application, I have a long experience of being a main admin on multiple servers including the ShatBricks MineCraft server (now unfortunately shut down), and was a good and encouraging admin, without abusing my Admin rights at any stage. I also have a long standing experience hosting and setting up my own server, and also supporting other people in creating servers on gaming forums and for my friends. I am authoritative when I need to be and have good control over the people I manage, I'm sure people on the server will vouch for how close and encouraging I treat the people I help on the server, and feel I would be great for welcoming new members to the game as this was one of my main roles on the ShatBricks server (welcoming new people to the game and getting them to register on the forums). I already do a lot of moderating work as it is, people are always asking me things and I tend to end up dealing with stupid people and hackers that I can spot, which is very limited currently. I also am very good at organising big events and tasks on the game too (e.g. the massive cathedral my faction is making), and I really enjoy doing this, which could be a huge help with the upcoming Creative Build contest which I would LOVE to help organise, even if my application isn't successful. Some IRL examples of me being a good leader and admin-type roles are the fact that I am the leader of Charnwood Youth Council (a group of about 30 teenagers in the big borough I live in), have helped to organise and run massive youth conferences which went very smoothly, have experience and training in handling and talking to people and think this is useful in judging people for bannable offences and I am generally a very reliable person in real ;ofe and in-game All this combined with the fact that I regularly use the L4G forums, my, *rather sterling* , track record of being positive and fair to people both in game and on the forums and my deep and passionate love for Sneed, I think I would make a great admin and quite a valuable contributor to part of the L4G admin team. - DrMinky :edit: oh and I know most of the regulars on the server, or at least what they are like, so I can more easily pick out if someone IS using a hack or not! *on a side note, anyone that doesn't know me too well please send me a message! Damn, I wish we could use what we've built already haha our base is coming along VERY nicely! This sounds good, ill draw up some schematics. Oh and don't reset the map after 1.9... It'd be a big waste, it updates the map to 1.9 things anyway. Cant wait for a nether reset though

CLAVUS. Why the reset, I dont understand? Do you need to reset to remove the orbs or what? If its only that then copy and paste the world into worldedit and we get to keep the map...

Hi, im sure everyone is aware of this urgent issue and is as appalled as I am The minecraft server has been down for 30 WHOLE SECONDS. This is unnaceptable.

Clavus you can simply disable TNT and lava placing, its easy to do, I think that would make it fair, if someone did abuse the water like with cubes you could just remove it easily. And if you made ALL land unbuildable unless claimed, it would stop people just digging massive underground tunnels and keep people building to their area, though thats just a suggestion.. But yeah I like the idea of a creative week, it would be great for the server and people that like to build.

You should check out the thing I've got planned, gonna be sweet. Though I highly suspect someones going to come along and blow it up half way through building it because everyone likes to be a douche 'n' all, And yeah that system would work, I was thinking of doing myself but the problem is all you need is someone with a fly mod and they can come in and destroy everything, and PLENTY of people have fly mods..

I dont think he updated the sounds in the pre-release.. Or the block skins for some of them, he's changing a couple in 1.8 I had some weird item dupe glitch when using a crafting table, i'd report it to notch but I dont know how it happened..

Yeah we always had a problem with names.. I'm just doing acoustic gigs with my friend for fun now, got one later this month actually I think (oh crap I'd forgotten about that) Too modest or dirty? If you mean skill wise I'm up to grade 7 now after 7 lessons, I'm an extremely fast learner with piano for some reason. Very jazzy is good, not the play random chords over a pumped bass type jazz but.. You know. If you could send me some recommendations and i'll check them out i'd be so so so grateful, had to stop lessons atm for some weird financial thingy with the college..

I'm not going on the server until its been reset. Tbh I think my Guilds kind of fallen apart what with no one being on and having nothing to do, will need to re-recruit after the reset..
