Advertisements arent exactly cheap and it isnt sure if that would help. We tried to advertise through our ZS server in the past and that didnt really work well. We will obviously try to get as much players as possible on all our gmod servers. There will be new gamemodes in the future and with that we will advertise all other gamemodes like DD and SoG aswell.

But seriously gmod has such freedom and still we focus so much on ZS. We could focus more on Darkest Days or Slave of Gmod, which are both original gamemodes. This way mr.green carries out a more original image than being another ZS community on gmod.

Offtopic: I have been away for a while to focus on uni and on real life, but now i got the time to invest in Gmod again as server manager.
I have to say that I'm getting really tired by all the people spewing negativity here. Atleast Pufulet is positive and tries to build on what he thinks is the way to get ZS back to a proper player count. However im getting tired of a few people namely braindawg, cevadar and rob. The past is the past and its no use to dig up past failures. We need to focus on the future of ZS and this wont be achieved by sticking to the old ways and the past.

It is a shame seeing someone with a heart for the gamemode go away. Lately you did your best to recover your past mistakes. it is a shame people dont give people another chance.
and braindawg if you dont have anything good to say, please just shut it.

tbh i like the huds we have now for both zombie and human. Maybe we could however make the current hud a bit smaller so it takes less hud space.

You do know that gmod has had lots of updates in the mean time. You cant just put back the old and hope for the best. Besides the player base there is now is different from that in those days. When we tried going back to the old, we were actually losing even more players. We are trying to go in a new path and not take a path we have already used in the past. New ideas can attract new groups and hopefully make them stay. Our main priority is fixing the major bugs (boss stuck bug) and trying to diversify the gameplay more to make it more enjoyable.

Ethereals are lethal for both so i dont think that it has influence in that way.

He hasnt run off, he just uses a different name to prevent people from being asses to him. Besides atm most admins are inactive atm (including myself).

If hes really hacking, it shouldnt be too hard to get more evidence.

I already discussed it with SZL and with other admins. At the moment i dont see enough concern to demote him just yet. If it would escalate in the future there might be reason for demotion, but for the time being there wont be. Feel free to keep your eyes out though.

I agree with duby. I will look at ZS admin apps once there is a more stable base and our admin group has grown thin.
