Oh god. i had the X0xb****** memory could not be read on X0xb****** ( *'s are random numbers) too. it ruined alot of epic moments for me lol. almost got rambo , 84 kills. BAM crash, the only solution is vista, or windows 7

Don't switch to 7 right now, wait for it to be available because the RC version will be locked in march 2010!

So switch to 7 now, and switch to the retail OS before march 2010? :V

I've got a solution for this "memory read" error. According to google a TF2 update causing this. All you have to do is to prevent gmod from mounting tf2.

Open .../garrysmod/cfg/content.txt and replace everything with this:

"Content"
{
"240"
{
"mount" "1"
}
"300"
{
"mount" "1"
}
}

This will only mount CSS and HL2. Only their contents will be available but that's enough for ZS. Obviously, make a backup copy of the original content.txt and if you need all content just copy it back.

Since I use this: 1 month - only 3 crash B). That's better then the daily 1-2, isn't it? :P
