Linkii Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 When you are playing, what are your mouse sensitivity at? :]Show your mouse-skillz! (You don't need screenshots, but wud be cool)Mine is leet, when playing Zombie Survival:13.37 XD Quote
Clavus Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I always set it from 10 to 11. Don't know why the default setting is 3. Guess those guys at Valve are pretty slow. Quote
Donlan Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I don't know how the heck you people play at such high sensitivity. Quote
Clavus Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I play it at anything from 1.0-2.0Wait what? Isn't that incredibly slow? Quote
Damien Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 i cant understand how you canplay with such low sensivity , faster means you can turn faster as headcrab and as human you can still aim good . Quote
Prismaa Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 4.7-6.7.. usually 4.7 i learned from dod and dod:s that fast aint good always was in best clan in finland when i was still playing Quote
bastardman Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 (edited) 15 dorrEdit: Because If I have 3, my aim can barely move. Edited December 30, 2008 by Redgord Quote
Donlan Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Damien, I play at a low sensitivity because it allows you to actually take note of what's around you. When you're moving around slower you'll have a better idea of what's going on and have alot more time to react to what's going on. And the fact that I used to play alot of CS1.6 where you had to be aware of your surroundings to make sure some CT doesn't jump you with a knife. Quote
Mindtwistah Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I play with 1. With uber-slow sensetivity, you can focus on zombies head and you'll become like a living aimbot. I used to play with high sensitivity. I always wondered how the hell the ubers can be so.. uber-ish. (Stelk, Hiper, Santa and so on)And then Stelk was so kind to tell me that uber-low sensetivity was the secret I switched to that, and only after a couple of days started to feel the difference (With high sensitivity my average kills per round was about 15, with low sensitivity it is about 30 :3) Oh, and low sensitivity made me beat my previous ZS record which was 72 kills.. I GOT 92!!! Quote

Donlan Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Messed up shit. I should play with 10 instead of 15 while playing ZS then... By low senstivity it's a sensitvity of like 1-3 so 10 isn't going to help that much.I'd advise everyone to just atleast give a low sensivity a try for a few days to see how much of a difference it can make to your playing ability. And I must lift my mouse 5 times in order to turn 180 degrees. I'm fine on 10. I'm accurate enough to make headshots and I'm fast enough to attack multiple targets. Quote

Donlan Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 For some weird reason I've got my sensitivity at 1.0 but it feels more like it's at 7. Quote
-RatMan- Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 10-11. Stopped with 5 after failing @ Counter-Strike: Source Surf Quote
Mayco Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 At 10 in Garry's Mod. Don't know about the other ones, I never change it. My mouse's software changes speed automatically for every application. Quote
Darkstar Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 At 10 in Garry's Mod. Don't know about the other ones, I never change it. My mouse's software changes speed automatically for every application.same, my mouse is uber sensitive anyway, so i dont think ive even changed it :3 Quote
Damien Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 I tried it once with 5 and that was really slow for me, so i think 1 is like moving your mouse 5 times to do 180 degrees. btw i have a trackball, i move the ball with my thumb. Quote
Njittie Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 I usually don't change mouse sensitivety. so i always play with the normal settings. Quote

Guess those guys at Valve are pretty slow.i think its because they might use dells at valve, my one, ive never changed it, mainly because the mouse is sensitive enough not to change it in game Quote
norbo Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 umm o.o im playing with 3 , and usualy its too fast ;D prolly cos im snipe style of player , been since socom 2 (ps2 game) Quote
Deluvas Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 i play at 16. my mouse is set at 2000 dpi and i have the mouse filter option checked. (from settings) . I have to say, low sensitivity hurts your arms(and if you have big table, so you can move the mouse great distances -- like from the pacific to atlantic , just to headshot a zombie XD), seriously... if i played ZS at 5.2, then i could not dodge headcrabs, zombies or other entities. Aiming with zombies claws or pistol would be a real pain ... Quote
