I don't understand you. What are you trying to say? Like I said before. Players will probably have a limit of weapons around 4. With possible 1 pistol at a time. etc. etc.

The main objective stays the same (which is surviving and killing zombies). But with a new twist indeed. Screenshot: Deluvas holding the chair and I'm punching it. :>

When new weapons are dropped it will be displayed on the screen.

Even in rooms yes. However, when you are going to barricade yourself you know you won't get new weapons easily. So barricading is only smart to do if you got good weapons. The survival feeling will actually be higher. Since you don't spawnkill zombies all the time. It's like you have 2 objectives. Searching weapons and killing zombies. ZS isn't like a real survival now. I don't think god gives you weapons if you kill more weapons (like it is in ZS now).

Hi guys. I started modding ZS again. Since Clavus is going on holidays and got other stuff to do. I've an idea about a new weapons system. I've discussed it with Deluvas. He likes the idea. But I want your opinions too. The idea is that the whole weapons-reward gets removed. Yes, I know it's basicly what ZS is about. However, I want to make it different. When a round starts every human starts with no weapons. Even without melee weapons. After 1 minute melee weapons will be randomly dropped around the map. But there won't be enough melee weapons for everyone. Just 10 melee weapons when there are 20 humans or something like that. 3 minutes later new weapons will be dropped. This time pistols will be dropped. 5 minutes later uzi's and mp5's will be dropped. etc. etc. Even health packages and a barricade kit will be dropped. And even the pulserifle will be dropped. But only people who got the shop item which enabled the pulserifle can pick it up. This new weapons system will be combined with the ability to drop weapons. And I might even limit the amount of weapons you can have at one time. So you need to drop a weapon if you reach that limit. So someone else can pick it up which didn't find any good weapons. So. What's your opinion about this? Also. I will introduce the ability to drag props with the E button and the possibility to weld (nail) props. To create better barricades.

Tested the second beta two times yesterday. Might remake the map so it uses more HL2 textures and models and improve performance. Here are some screenshots.

It's already shorter. All brushes I can find are now on the grid. And removed a lot of unnecessary brushes.

Hm. Don't know what you are talking about. Anyways, thanks to decompiling the map I need to use 4 PCs at once to compile the map.

similar to that map on ZP:S then? Which in ZP:S? Anyways, I'm compiling the new map now. I hope everything is balanced now. And if it's not, I'm going to cry. And map compiling takes ages btw.

The new lighthouse version, which I will test this evening probably, will include a rescue vehicle. Only humans inside the helicopter will win the round.

Hi everyone, I've just tested the first beta of the map on the Mr. Green ZS server and it still needs to be more improved. This map is based from the Left 4 Dead Survival map Lighthouse. Players do not need Left 4 Dead to play this map. Yeah, I know it's kinda illegal and such. But whatever. The map isn't currently in the map cycle. But it will when it's finished (probably). Suggestions are welcome. Current to-do things: Fix electricity cables Optimize it for more FPS Fix invisible wall in house Create second zombie spawnpoint more near the lighthouse, to balance it more. One screenshot included.

I tried to also add it when you touch the resupply closet. But it's technically very hard to do. So it's only on spawn (as -RatMan- already said).

Thanks for your donation (I've sent you a e-mail) and welcome on the forums. And I could make the sentries a bit stronger. But engineers have already the metal regeneration. So they can fix their sentries quick when there isn't a dispenser around.
