I really don't know how you're planning to admin a server you aren't really active on, but good-luck. It really needs some attention.

ummmmm You'd be surprised at how many new players log in. They leave after 1-2 minutes though. I agree with Red. If none of the current admins want to play that much, then a new one is needed. Even the one applying (that's of any note), Mathijs, isn't on anymore. Look at your common player base, and choose someone, or suggest they apply for admin.

I really think you need to give this thought... Prospective players leave everyday because they can't do anything- - players when could possibly in the future donate or make up a bigger player base. Perhaps when the new modding api comes out, you could design something where you can only claim limited land if you have less than three people (ex. One land). Idk, the player base is falling apart without anynew additions so something whether it be my idea or not needs to be done. Sorry for any spelling errors, I'm doing this from my phone.

Hey, So, a lot of new players have been joining recently. They can't claim land or do anything really because there's no one to team up with, simply due to a lack of players. Why not let them claim land when they only have one person? It'd certainly build up the player base. The current system might have worked when the server had a hundred players, but that's not the case anymore. Yeah, people can use their alternate accounts to claim land and claim it for themselves, but people can get past that easily anyways. It might deface the map with factions, but it'd be better in the long run, imo. For any admin's information, the last voting page listed on the forums doesn't work for voting. (can't find the server) The live-map advertised in-game (via announcement) gives the wrong address; it's the old one. Thanks. Sorry for making a lot of forum posts. -Kod

Yes there will be more options to buy & earn GC in the near future. It also depends on what gameserver you play on. MTA Race received some new shop items last night. Minecraft. Not really sure what to add, but some things should be updated. Yeah more payment options would help, but I know how difficult they can be to manage.

Does this mean more options added to store? Maybe some more opportunities to get Green-coins? I'd definitely donate if more options were added

Keep the server faction wars. You'll have to find a whole new player base if you switch the theme of the server, which won't be easy.

It is frustrating indeed, neither do I can explain you why, but these decissions are all for the rest of the players' lives. Account permantly banned. They try to be as carefull as they can to not ban anyone that hasn't done anything wrong, and by doing this sometimes real hackers don't get banned, but as the proof stacks up it'll be more likely for him to get banned. What are you trying to say? That some players aren't banned for hacking because it's better for the rest of the players? I can see where you went with this, but hacking is hacking, and should be ban-able.

Personally Ender pearl glitching annoys the heck out of me. Why bother building an extravagant base, when someone can just glitch in and kill you? Yeah, you can "ender pearl proof" your base, but every design has it's flaws. It seems to me the only way to make a 100% safe base is to make it underground. That's 1. ugly 2. pretty much un-raidable. "But Kod! aren't obsidan bases unraidable??" THey are, but very hard to. Someone glitched into my obby sphere the other day. Besides, if you spend the time mining obsidian, props to you. You deserve that kind of base. A public end is best imo. no public end is like saying "Oh you're the first person on the server with X-ray? here you go, take an end portal." Newer players will have NO chance at getting pearls later in the game. What you have now is pretty good actually. You have to parkour down the portal which makes it harder than usual.

Removing the public end would basically mean the X-rayers at the start of each map control the end portal. Why is everyone a fan of enderpearl glitching? I really don't get it. I like how it is right now.

You probably have the old ip. Try server.minecraft.nl You can download every map that's been played. Go to the minecraft forums, then to the "world backups."

Completely understand dude, especially since you're in University (?). Next Friday seems good, but how about Saturday, since it's the "day after the world ends" and all . Plus people are out partying Friday. My own suggestions: 1. /spawn command. Really doesn't matter, but people would fight more, raid more, etc. The more I think about it, the more I don't like it... 2. More opportunities for green coins, and an update to the green-coins shop. (more shopping options). Emphasis on voting for the server. I'm talking like a stone tools set with a couple pieces of bread, so you're not slaughtered by mobs or hunger within the first ten minutes. Hey, Well, this map's slow. Pretty much every faction has quit except for a few. Can we have a map reset earlier? It would initially increase the player base, as everyone rushes to build new bases. This time, they might actually stay, because there's an updated anti-cheat plugin preventing hackers and the such. Also, the next minecraft update focuses primarily on red-stone; I haven't seen any new blocks or terrain features that a 1.5 update would nullify a 1.4.5 map. We could just carry it through the update. Additionally, this map's been up since September, almost three months. The outside of spawn looks like crap. Again, this is just an idea input. We can let the server rot until 1.5, or maybe rejuvenate it now. -Kod

monkey! This is genius. None of the above ideas require excessive plugins. I'll reiterate to make myself feel better. -/spawn -basic starter kits -one player faction claiming -better looking spawn to impress players (not too complicated) -new map reset soon

Let's keep the server vanilla? I really hate bulky plugins and such. 1. Arena: I'm not a supporter of one. However, if there were to be one, it would be at spawn with a "/arena" type warp. Maybe a one way entrance with access from a /spawn command. 2. Armor/potions: Keep it vanilla. If it's worked before, then it'll work now. 3. TNT: add less stack amounts (ie 10-15) to the greencoins shop. Add more stuff to the greencoins shop. Add more opportunities to get free green coins. (not too easy though)

*sigh* I love this nerfed enchant idea... but one of the main reasons I play this server is because of the purely vanilla factions experience. I've never seen any factions server without some sort of iconomy, heavy donater preference etc... Again, when we had the map with 100+ people on, were there enchant restrictions then? I wasn't playing personally, but let's go back and use the ideas that we know Worked before we start anything new. This enchant system is sounding a lot like Enchanting island/potion island imo.

Perhaps remove any and all spawners, but keep all enchants? This would make getting xp much more harder than it is right now. People would automatically have more basic enchants versus high level enchants, as it takes AGES to get level 30 xp without a grinder.

Mathijs is a jerk to anyone he deems "lower" than him. He flamed me for no reason randomly in chat. Later, He came to my base one day, and proceeded to flame me more hatefully, just because I wouldn't come out and fight his protection 4 butt. I don't think I even had armor at that point, which I made clear to him. According to Mathijs, if people don't fight him with nothing on, they're a bunch of scared little kids. I don't give a crap about this flaming/ranting, but personally I think it makes Mathijs a horrible choice for admin. An admin needs to kind/considerate and have unbiased judgement. Sure he might be nice to his 'friends,' but 95% of the players on the server aren't his 'friends.' I agree with Kitty, I stepped out of spawn at the start of this map, and within 10 seconds, Mathijs kills me. I eventually started up a mini DIRT house as a temporary shelter; I had nothing. He came with a bunch of his buddies, creeper'd into my dirt hut, and stole everything. Yeah it's a raiding server, got it. However, It's completely hypocritical for him to even start to blame other players for turning away our player-base when he's a large factor in it. I'm glad Mathijs records hackers and attempts to ban them. I don't know why anyone would want a bunch of v-clippers flying around. I do find it funny, however, how he treats himself like an admin. At the same time, I don't blame people for hacking. What else are they going to do when a bunch of protection 4 guys go slaughter them the second they step out of spawn? As Kitty said, we lack a "Middle Class." This is the last time I'm going to respond since it has no use anyway, people who like me flame people who hate me and the other way around. But next time I 'flame' you I'll also record the things that happened before that. From the moment I get online I'm getting teased, which is logic, but you don't have to start to complain that I flame, it's faction wars, you can't be friends with everyone or with every staff member of the entire community. You don't have to act pathetic either when you say you get spawnkilled by your enemies from the previous map, if you would see any enemy trying to start off, you would do the same. But I think both me and you agree on this one that the real fresh players are left alone anyway, right? I don't even have protection IV since it's just to much of a pain in the arse to make and I would love to see enchantments be removed from armor and swords (Maybe keep them on tools if that would be possible ?). I could've flaimed/teased you to get out of your base, that's true, but I also remember I went to your base and another member which was extremely friendly was online. In the end I gave him stuff and we had a laugh. It's extremely sad that you think that I would ban 95% of the players on the server, that's not what I want to do, if you go read my application you can see I would only use it for the reason that it's way easier to ban someone right away and therefore preventing him killing massive amounts of fair players. I would love to organize some pvp tournaments every weekend since that's highly requested aswell. I know I can't be friends with everyone just like I wasn't friends with Corby or Awesomeo in the beginning either, since they just powned my ass over and over. But after we all just calmed down, I realised that they're both extremely helpfull and kind persons. And guess what ? I even learned something by accepting them, not all gays are weird. (#CorbyIsGayFanclub) Gurl, I didn't know you last map. So stop making up crap about "previous enemy killing." Someone from my faction talked with you, in a nice way? Who? I highly doubt that. I never said anything about you banning 95% of the server. Learn to read English. Yeah, I read your application. That's great that you want to ban people right away. Like I sad, I support that.
