  2. Well, you don't want to fix your map? I gave you some advices/tips . Take them or leave them. But I'm not sure the map is gonna be uploaded unless you fix those issues. However, SDK (or anyone else who uploads maps) may be of a different opinion than I am, so I guess you should wait for a reply from them.

I need a moment after testing *takes a deep breath* Alright, so: The map is in the wrong format, even if I do make it a .zip it won't start because the meta.xml is fucked up really bad (the name of the script to load is different than the name of the actual script and the name of the map is different than the .map file).. After I realized what's wrong, I fixed it so it's now playable. Now about the map, the music is too big, I notice you have an .mp3 file that is of 10 MB. It should be shortened or even deleted. The second checkpoint of the map is smaller than an e-penis. Almost all the checkpoints of the map are in the most terrible order, which with 32 players will create enormous clusterfucks. The distance between the checkpoints is huge. If you die, you can sometimes respawn miles away. The checkpoints are at such big distance that you need to use MTA's built-in-whole-san-andreas-map to figure out where to go or which route to take. I'm just trying to be objective here, but I think your map should really be improved before it gets uploaded in the server. As I said, I fixed the map's format so if you would want to improve it or anyone else would like to take a look , I suggest you download the following attachment and not the one in the first post race-racingdrlove.zip

  5. I see you're into mapping as this is already your second map. Could you please stick to one topic where you would post again everytime you make a new map? That would be less spammy. Thanks. I've tested the map and here are my views: - Make all checkpoint sizes 8. Some of your checkpoints are incredibly small while others are big. I think 8 is a good size for all of them. - Fix the small stairwell and the start of the map because 32 players do not fit at the current state of the map. Alternatively, you could try forcing the ghostmode setting for the map, in which case the start and the stairwell are acceptable. I'm looking forward to other maps of yours Good job

  7. Assuming it'll be 32 (max), yes, it'll take quite a while before everyone is dead in DM. But it really depends on the map. The maps could be No-Respawn, which yes, will take ages to finish, but they could also be a respawn maps so you won't get bored to wait. Maps could also be Cops and Robbers? And maybe more gamemodes? Hay, fallout, Interstate69 ( http://community.mtasa.com/index.html?p=resources&s=details&id=32 ) Players could votemode between any of those? :S A lot of ideas can pop up for us to do if we actually decide to do it.

  9. Honestly this thought had also crossed my mind I find it a really good idea. Even if I do love racing, sometimes I feel I need a change. Maybe ram some people in a DM map? Maybe fall off a window in a "fallout" gamemode. How many times have we been frustrated that we don't like the race map that is currently playing? The ability to switch servers here comes in handy. Also, the racing server is very crowded, full almost all the time. When you aren't able to get the last 32nd slot, wouldn't it be awesome to have the chance of still playing in a MrG server, be it DM, DD, Stunt or whatever? Let's face it. They can't both be full at the same time, so it must be room for you somewhere (rofl) . The FPS. We could finally have a better FPS Limit. As I see it, the reason why we have 31 as maxfps in the racing server is to not get an advantage over low-end PC users that also race with us. But in a DM server it could be 40 or so, because the speed wouldn't matter. There might even be commands like /dm that would send you over to the DM server from the racing one and vice versa, depending on your liking at the moment given Notice: I clarified the situation with Yoshi, by DM we mean DM maps in the "Race" gamemode. We don't mean Deathmatch as in CJs killing CJs with shotguns

  11. Update for NFS_MW map -new cars that hopefully will please everyone as they aren't glowing like the previous ones did. (the texture is still plain as the nfs texture wasn't rendering properly) -big checkpoints race-nfs_mw.zip
  12. That's a terrific idea Csena! Not only will it help to see the cheating toptimes, but it will allow everybody in the server to easily find the right path in tracks. All they have to do is follow the trail
  13. Chill out it's a game feature most people already know about it.. If typing /kick #0000FFSenate is hard then kick him via the admin panel.. If you're kicking from IRC it won't be a problem cause you'll be kicking his ID anyway. BTW: I just tested the command /kick and yes it kicks players even if their name is colored.. So what exactly is the problem? :/
  14. In that case lose the rating system too.. Because it now shows "Random(?)" as in there's no rating for Random yet or "Play Again" which is pointless

  16. I think voting shouldn't have even been enabled in the first place.. I think players only vote for maps because of their names. Most of the time I see people vote for a map that has an attractive name (even rating) like "need4speed", but when they play it, they say it sucks and probably wish they hadn't voted for it.. This way, the server makes random decisions about the next map. Nobody gets upset because their map wasn't voted for, as nobody actually votes. I hope that voting will remain disabled, it's a better asset to the server.
  17. I had this problem once and there was nothing left for me other than reinstall. Ever since the 1.0.3 version, MTA has a built-in check for modified files which goal is to prevent people from cheating, be it handling.cfg, gta3.img or modified san andreas map (like having a road on water so that you don't drown but everyone else would) If you made any backups, try restoring them.

  19. I just tested this map. Hmm, nice. But too simple? :/ Why are all your maps so straight? All you have to do is drive straight, maybe take a corner or 2 and voila, the map's over. Try to make them harder I don't know.. It seems to me even your 7-year-old brother can finish this. Btw: After I finished the race, the votemap froze. I am not sure if it's a map issue or an issue with my resources. Let's wait and see if it works for other people who are willing to test it.

  22. Having viruses may slow your PC down therefore lower your fps :/ Fix it?
  23. What's your average FPS ? If you are unable to have a steady 31 then everyone else ALREADY has unfair advantage. If your fps is 31, you'll most likely be able to run it at 35-40 too. make sure all GFX settings are low btw , even try resolution, it'll give a huge boost, at least for my laptop it does
