Search on google "gta sa no-cd" , go to the first link that pops up and choose GTA: San Andreas v1.0 [ALL] No-CD/Fixed EXE to download, then replace it with the other exe you already have. I'm not sure if warez/crack links are allowed.. So that's why I've tried to make it look like a step-by-step tutorial xD

Great news GTA is now working. Well, when you choose the GTA Folder, make sure you're choosing the right one from those 2 that you mentioned.. The GTA Folder is supposed to have gta_sa.exe inside it. Also, if you still can't do it, reinstall mta and it should find the gta folder itself

Rocketman, can you actually get the GTA:SA to work in single player? Cause if you can't, try deleting gta_sa.set from My Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files . @Camille: I doubt it'll make a difference

because you probably started Steam I'm not entirely sure, but Steam may have checked the game's data and it detected the .exe was modified was it updated itself and the update must have caused the revert to original v3.0 gta_sa.exe So how's it coming? Did using a 1.0 no-cd crack work? Edit: If this is the solution, I recommend copying the GTA Folder from the Steam folder elsewhere in your computer and running MTA from there!

As Ywa already said, you need to crack the steam exe with a no-cd crack. But you need to make sure that the no-cd crack is version 1.0 ! Anything above 1.0 doesn't like mta. (Steam is 3.0 or something like that, this is why you need a no-cd)

Btw, this guy says he got a network trouble error and then 1 hour later he tried to connect and saw that he had been banned... well, i clearly saw him get booted from the server (banned) so the ban message must have appeared on his screen.. You sure you ain't making up this story, Moii?

and how do we know it was an anti-cheat bug and Moii wasn't actually cheating? :/ just take his word for it? (@other admins)

I was in the server at the time you got banned, so the story with "network trouble and joined an hour later" doesn't quite fit in.. You were automatically banned by the Anti-Cheat for airbraking.

Even though you didn't give enough details, I was able to find your ban in the banlist. You were banned as "Henk" by the Anti-Cheat for running s0beit in background. I seriously doubt we will unban a cheater.

edit: unbanned for now.. don't do anything stupid or this time it will be permanent

You shall remain banned for a few days to learn your lesson.. Never use game-exploits to your advantage. Even though you said you weren't using it as an advantage, I saw you avoid death by using it. Also, never try bugs because they're new; instead, go and report them to admins :/ I'll post here when you've been unbanned..

He's banned. Not only did he play with a high fps and established impossible records, but he deliberately abused the spectating bug which is pretty much like airbrake. (can be seen in Camille's video) At first I only wanted to talk to him, warn him that if he does that again he'll be banned, but what I got in return was him quit the server :/ I think he had had enough warnings.. Time for ban.

Are you using Windows XP and also have a dual-core processor? It's a known bug. The fix goes like this: Open mta. Alt-tab. CTRL+ALT+DELETE, go to processes, find gta_sa.exe , right click on it, choose Set Affinity and make sure only the first processor is checked. However, I would suggest upgrading to Windows 7 as it has solved this dual-core processor issue.

Yes, pressing and holding tab shows not only each player, but their FPS next to the Ping.

I think you should check my fps(with TAB) before you go about telling everybody that it is 35 where it has never gone that far. The maximum I have ever achieved in mr. green's server is 31. You can check it yourself, I will not mind.

Hmm, maybe something like: get kicked if your ping is over 350 and also get kicked if your average fps is below 10? Btw it's not always about the ping or the fps, you can get ultra-rammed by desync too (as in someone's near you one second, and the next one he's in front of you), and this isn't something any of us can fix.

One of the reasons I play (and maybe others too) in Mr. Green's server is because besides common sense rules, there isn't anything special that you need to abide by.. The more you complicate the server with extra-rules, the less enjoyful it shall be for players. Camille, you and I already have experience with such "strict-rules-server" that ended up having an average of 1 player (LOL).. We wouldn't want Mr. Green to become like that, would we? xD My point is people should feel relaxed when they're playing this game in this server, not worried about breaking trivial rules such as "english only"

My in-game nick is mostly BinSlayer but I can also be found playing as NeO_Roberto (Yes, NeO is a clan and yes I am aware of the ‘no clan’ rule but I’m also determined to make this not an issue anymore ). I started playing as soon as MTA:SA came out, that’s like 2006. MTA has been my prefered game ever since. I joined NeO as it was the most popular server at that time(just like Mr. Green is now) and I’d managed to become a part of their community. I became a team member,a VIP and finally an admin. Nobody has ever complained about my administrating as I have always made common-sense decisions, i’ve never abused my powers in any way but most importantly, obeyed the rules myself. Maybe this last thing is the most important one, because in my opinion, admins are just like regular players, the only difference between them is the powers they had been granted, -in order- to make the server more –enjoyable- for everybody. What I mean with the above is briefly that an admin cannot expect the players to obey rules if he doesn’t obey them himself. Secondly, I had been an admin in NeO for 2 years. With this achievement, I can proudly say that I am more than experienced when it comes to administrating. My sense of justice has always been good, and I can take a joke without screwing it up for everybody else. I hope I am active enough in the server according to your standards. (I’m not that kind of person who says they want to be admin just because others aren’t active enough). I’ve been playing a lot under the name of NeO_Roberto but then changed it to BinSlayer, so probably most of you know me better by NeO_Roberto unlike BinSlayer. Thirdly, Yes I am aware that I only have 2 posts on the forum. I’ll try to be more active here too, as I already am on IRC and in-game. Also, if any of the admins should refer to my –sometimes- swearing, I feel I need to say that I’ve changed and you should probably notice I’ve stopped it a long time ago. Hello SDK! I've played a lot of times with you and everytime you only showed how worthy and nice you are, not mentioning you're a good player too. It's always a challenge to me when you're in the server. Your script is very useful as well (tells the players via IRC if the current map has respawn or not).
