    What if the zerk dropped the axe and took a plank. that thing hits fast + a bonus. in other words a zerk could leach 30-60 hp in 2 seconds. + they are fast + they take less damage + their melee attack is stronger = O V E R P O W E R E D

    i agree it needs update but it should totally not get overpowered again

    im sorry but zombies have loads of upgrades that they can get and the only problem people had with zerks was fasties being stupid. i mean do you seriously think that zombines and howlers would not be able to kill a zerk, especialy with the howlers new ability. I just think it's time the zerk got SOME of it's original power back. and if stats are reset (like mine have ):)then it will be perfectly fair because to get to lvl 6 with a zerk now will take forever and if they got the sugested update then it would take at least a month of solid playing wich i doubt anyone does.

    EDIT: oh and atm all melee weapons are like giant inflatable toys. They are underpowered marshmellows..

    yea were melee weapons nerfed because ive had a plank as a zerk with all the damage upgrades form the shop and i was with a gordon freeman and we spent 45 second litraly non stop hitting a normal zombie and it didn't die. the zombie was attacking a sofa so it wasnt getting hp back and it was something like 7:12 Z:H

  3. have you even played before the levelstats got disabled? zerks would sit in a small spot on a roof with a axe or crowbar and then they were NOT getting killed by fastzombies...

    Everyone always thinks about zerk for some reason...

    i have some ideas:

    Class ideas:

    1. Support

    Give people less ammo at start, less ammo at regeneration and less ammo at crates. Support should be able to give out ammo crates which will give you 5-10 clips of your current weapon. A level 1 support should have 6 crates to share, and 2 regenerate at ammo regeneration. with each level up, support should be able to give 2 crates more. the nails should stay the way they are but i think a nailed prop should be weakened, because sometimes it is just too tough.

    2.Commando

    The commando is quite balanced right now. a bit slow but it has its own perks. maybe a commando should be a little bit faster, because he is just too slow; i can seldomly escape from a zombie as soon as he touches me.

    3.Berserker

    Berserker should NEVER go back to what it was. people would just have a crowbar find a exploit-, glitch or some other mean spot to hold out 10 minutes by just hitting zombies with a crowbar. they should have a speed penalty if they haven't attacked a zombie with a melee weapon in a while. i think they should have increased melee damage but also generate enough health from a attack.

    4.Medic

    My favourite class, but it stinks from self-healers. If you want to heal yourself, you HAVE to stand still. i think the target should stand still too to get healed, i hate trying to heal people that are running around jumping and whatever.maybe the medic should have a bandage "weapon" too. if you give someone a bandage, he will regenerate a total of 25hp UNLESS he receives damage during the healing process.

    5.Engineer

    The engineer should have his barricade kit back, and you should have the choice to choose between 3 weapons: you can have 2 at the same time. so you have to choose between barricade kit, mines and a turret gun. the turret gun should remain unchanged, only that fast zombies will have a attack bonus ON the turret <so that it is not in an overpowered camp spot>

    Weapon ideas:

    Maybe you can find some other weapon models/sounds. Every single server has counterstrike weapons for every gamemode that exists on garrysmod. maybe replace them with kermite's gun models. those are really nice.

    Also i think there should be more powerful pistols. the p228 and the usp are like BB guns.

    Also i think the scout sniper rifle should return. in every map, 1 support will have a scout (2 if the player amount is above 25)

    The hitting system should also be updated. i seriously have trouble hitting humans that i am walking up against.

    i played before the update when they didnt get killed by fasties, remind ou of a class that doesn't get killed by anything atm. people think of zerks all the time because they got the biggest nerf. Anyway tose idea's would make the zerk worth playing again especialy considering the amount of people who donated so they could get usefull stuff for their zerk.

    also my old sugestion of a shop item that lets us stop the game changing our guns if we get one i like. im tired of getting a 5-7 when i had a magnum. or lets me keep my LMG and not get a shotgun. bu it doesn't effect what i actualy get when i unlock wepons.

    Well i cant help but putting what I think the berserkers stats should be personally. The class should be more like a blocker/tank to block a few zombies from your teamates giving time for your team to prepare.

    It might be a bit OP idk but thats what I think it should look like

    this seems like it would work. maybe just a trial, it's alot less OP than the 80% medics who heal themselves and run around.

    also is there anyway i can get my stats back. i was about 2k healing off leveling my zerk and i did about 11k healing after the 4hp leach update.

    grave digging XD 7 months is officialy dead imo.

    anyway since when can zombines crouch?!?!? it's the worst update ive seen since the savage murder of zerks.

  6. zombies will be available on all versions of the game it's just that hardened and prestige get the original 4 zombie maps aswell. sorta makes me want to get prestige now :( but i will hold strong and get a normal copy

  7. well with zerk give it 4% hp back and then add 1%per level or something. and give us the ablity to see to shop items for the weekend for 80% of what we payed for them.

    Randomise maps again and and put some more maps in and remove some of the house maps or make them alot less frequent.

    medics heal themselves at 50% speed and run slower while healing.

    engi gets mines and hammer and support gets the ability to pick up props and gets the LMG at 5 less kills maybe.

    make the shotty 65-70 kills and as i have sugested before let us pick the handguns we want to get rid of. like make a shop item that makes it so i can keep the LMG and NOT get the shotty or lets me keep my deagle and NOT get the 5-7 because i quite frankly HATE the 5-7.

    i think thats it butill post again if it's not.

  8. i havnt played since the last steam update, or the one before im not sure. it was about a month/month and a half ago. thing that annoys me is that since zerks dont get a % hp back and i dont get any melle bonus, exept from the things ive bought with GC, gordan freeman, to me at least, is useless. is there any way to turn shop items off because i don't ever want freeman atm.

  9. ok so i got steam working after it deleted itself and i couldn't be bothered to fix it, only to find that the 15000 ish GC and 100 hours (aprox) gameplay i spent leveling my zerk have been for nothing because all my stats have reset. i lost a lvl 2 engi and lvl 1 zerk (completed damage about 50% of the way with healing) have gone :(

    is there any way to get my levels back??

    on another not does zerg still only get 4hp back per hit at any level with any wep??

  10. wow you guys are so lucky. my school has blocked the first 20 pages including the searches proxy, pr0xii, proxii, proxie, etc. they have banned 90% of video and gaming websites. cmd and such is blocked obviously. they even blacked the usb drives because me and a friend got a shortcut into user data and but 2girls1cup onto every users account and spread shitty batch crashes around every computer XD. every teacher can turn off any computer, moniter usb, cd/dvd and such in just about any room from their computer and they blocked notepad so there is almost nothing we can do to get around this exept the ethernet bug. and we cant use floppy disks becuase all the slots have been filled with paper and stuff.we managed to get a blacklist password but none of us know how to use the blacklist thing properly. any ways around this would be nice.

  12. its firday so i decided to check minecraft dev status and found this:

    Seecret Friday 9! OooooOOOoo! And Minecraft Alpha 1.1.0! And Minecraft Server 0.2.0!

    The Seecret Friday part ended up being extremely tiny this time around, but that’s because I made sure to add this:

    + Added server-side inventory

    + Made the server save player locations when they leave the server

    + Made chests work in SMP

    + Made signs work in SMP

    + Made furnaces work in SMP

    + Added monsters=false to server.properties. You can turn it on for experimental monsters, but you can’t hurt them directly yet. (Fire works, though!)

    But this is NOT SECURE YET! I decided to just focus on making it functional first so I actually got it out.

    I’ll work on inventory security and server-side health management next week. Server-side health means you’ll be able to fight monsters and perhaps even other players. :D

  13. i think that as long as we have eprsister server inventories aren't a priority as longs as there is some way of auto banning people who get things like fire spawners, lava spawner, etc.

    also is anyone online atm??

  14. i think i might get this simply because i have enough game card points for a free game and i've already pre-ordered all the other good looking ones. as far as 4 player co-op is concerned im seeing the problem of 70-80% of "hardcore" cod gamers not having 2 friends let alone 4 to play the game with so they wasted time on that when they could have just made the game better.

  15. as long as inventories are client side this sorta thing will be frequent. when inventories are server side (hopefuly in the next update) then we wont see so much minging and no super minging that we have seen in the last 2 days.
