And of course I couldn't resist the temptation and joined Reap3r and Massi in their attempt of finding more vehicles. Which ended in Reap3r getting killed right after they had been duplicating stuff (karma's a bitch?). Luckily their assailant was sufficiently satisfied with their ATV (and all the duplicated crap in it) so he left Massi alone. Which meant he could wait for me to cross half the map to fix the Ural they were trying to guard: That's a lot of storage space.

I wouldn't play any Day Z tonight... too many bugs going around, even in 1.7.1.4. Guess it's Battlefield 3 night

Latest 1.7.1.3 changelog (it's not done yet apparently): The chopper fuel leak will be fixed. Too bad our group isn't in much of a state to go fetch a helicopter. Thank fuck.

This should be a standard rule: wait at least half a day after a patch release to check if there aren't any large issues that might ruin your character.

Path 1.7.1.2 is out. It's a hotfix yet it introduces new features such as melee weapons.... what?

Today was a day of failures. First me and Massi had a quarrel with Russian kids near Krasnostav. We ended up losing a lot of shit. Russian kids repaired and took an ATV. We later found it 400m further on, out of fuel (twats ). Next thing that happened is that we had to move our base. I deduced that making markings on the map made them show up on EVERYONE'S map (sometimes). Lovely thing to discover right after I marked our base and vehicle locations on the map. So we now have a new base. Location secret of course. Anyway, that ATV we claimed got wrecked it in the next hour due to a small bump in the road, somehow causing EVERYONE in the server to get a massive framedrop because of vehicle damage bugs. I tried to turn it upright by bumping into it with the Lada. It fixed the framedrop but the ATV ended up exploding. After that I took our Lada in the direction of Grishino together with Massi and Kefeus. Right before we entered town, my fucking game crashed (this shit barely ever happens). Icing on the cake that the car got under fire by hostiles 5 seconds later. Kefeus took the wheel but couldn't save the situation. Massi and Kefeus (with his apparently very old character) got killed. After that Nightfreeze swooped in and used the fact that he had an invisibility bug to rape our attackers. That was awesome. Less awesome was that when I finally logged back in and got back to the car, Nightfreeze apparently forgot another nearby dude and I got killed in a hail of machinegun fire. Shitty day. Still gives some nice screenshots: Not gonna tell that in public. Just join teamspeak.

I guess running them both should work. The old plugin would kill you on relog causing your power to drop.

Triple post yay! New Day Z patch (1.7.1.1) within 2 hours: This should fix several issues. Plus you can now choose your gender for each new character, makes a lot more sense. (Edit: apparently character selection is temporary. It was bugged (female reverted to male) so now Rocket made it available for every new character until he fixes the system)

So I was refueling my boat (found a jerry can inland, and there's a gas station close to the coast above Solnichniy), and then I spotted this: At first I freaked the fuck out, thought it was some kind of horror game mechanic. Then I remembered people no longer spawn with weapons so that's probably their default stance . Anyway, the guy started moving, probably just freshly spawned. Was nice that he didn't have a weapon so I could tell him to bugger off. And he did. He went over to the gas station, and within 10 seconds he was running away with 4 monkey zombies on his ass. Newbies

Found my way off this cursed island. Now I'm back on the mainland. I need to find tools, a hunting knife mainly :/

Stop complaining about the zombies, it's a zombie survival mod, not a fucking deathmatch mod with some zombies in it as some people seem to think. That's not my point. The zombies are bordering on unfair at this point. Any new player is going to scared away from this game real easily if he doesn't get a proper shot at surviving. All you spawn with is a bandage, painkillers and a flashlight ffs. Even when I try to be careful I end up attracting a horde. I've also heard people complain about instant zombie respawns when they try to shoot their way through. Also Rocket said there will be a hotfix for some fps and zombie line-of-sight issues within 6 hours.

Managed to grab a bit of food and drinks before I logged off. Zombies are terribly annoying now. You can't even safely crawl through locations any more, they spot you easily.

Ok these FUCKING servers. So I decided to log in, die, and run all the way back to the island. I spawned all the way over at Prigorodky so I had to run over Elektro. These new zombies are bullshit, they spot you from miles away and the monkey zombies move retardedly fast now. Ended up with 5500 blood before I had to start crossing the ocean. I finally had some luck: my body was still there. I grabbed my main gear and stuff from my backpack. Then the fucking server crashed. It didn't return so I joined another. When I get back in I noticed I've got only half the gear I grabbed and my backpack is gone. PURE RAGE. I think I need a timeout from this game for a while. Read their fucking wiki, that's what it's for. I'm getting tired of explaining.

Since rescue ain't coming, I'm going to bleed out on the island, then try to swim back to it in my new life. Should prove an interesting journey.

According to the Combat Tag source code it should act properly in this scenario. Can someone double-check?

It's best to wait half a day after an update for servers to get their shit straight.

Also 1.7.1 is released. Time to update people! Real nice that they finally fixed the tents right the day after we fucking lose all our tents.

The PBX I found is parked at the north east end of the island. If there's no rescue, I could attempt running up the island till I die of bloodloss, then upon respawn swim to the island, pickup my shit and get back in the boat. Although this means I will lose my camo :< So any rescue parties please bring the following: bandages. Blood bags or lots of meat. Optionally: full jerry can. The PBX is almost empty. Let me know when you're on the island, just message me any way possible.

Alright so today's adventure brought me to the edge of the map. Didn't find shit, except for a PBX laying at the shore. So I took that boat all the way down to to Skalisty Island. Tried exploring the little marina they had there, but then I ended up with a bullshit zombie attack causing me to bleed. And I have no bandages. So here I am, bleeding to death on some remote island. I logged out so I need someone to come to the island and rescue me

Logged back in this evening. Lada's still there. ATVs are gone. Time to start hunting.

Unless one of you guys didn't tell me something, we just got our shit raided recently. I can only find our white lada and two nearly broken ATVs in our camp. Both UAZs and the red car with the majority of our supplies are gone. First thing I did was relocate our base. Just talk to me directly if you want to know where it is. Also, just to be safe, don't make any screenshots of our base public any more. Seems we'll be on foot again for the time being :/
