They're hardly better I think. But when I unlocked the QBB-95 I noticed I could instantly put a Ballistic scope (x12) on it. Long distance machine gun I hit jack shit with it though.

Think so. New weapons are unlocked by completing the Assignments. And those are all locked on your soldier page.

All depends on my enemies. Sometimes there are very annoying enemy jet pilots which limit your ability to mess around for longer than 20 seconds. Other times you're dominating the sky.
