  1. You can't have these type of mods on the server since they require client modifications.
  2. How is Markarth depressing? It's a city build into a freaking mountain. Plus the view from my porch is gorgeous. Windhelm is depressing. I finished main quest yesterday. After having spend 120 hours in the game. You get some neat extras from the main quest though.
  3. Finished the main quest. Don't know why people are complaining about the ending fight, I thought it was all suitably epic. Edit: So since I got the biggest quest lines done now, I figured I'd embark on the greatest adventure of all: marriage! Visited Riften, got the amulet, proposed to Ysolda in Whiterun (cuz damn cute voice actor), got married, moved to Markarth (nice that that was possible!) and settled down.... and then I embarked on my next adventure to Blackreach! I thoroughly love this game.
  4. Seems the Bukkit team requires some time to get a recommended version out. I'll see how far things are tomorrow evening.
  5. I know, Ancient Dragons are a bigger bitch. Also continuing the main quest
  6. So I finally got around on doing the main quest
  7. Happy birthday dude. I was totally developing a special Infected Wars version for your birthday but Skyrim happened.
  8. Just finished up the Dark Brotherhood
  9. The old wizard in the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary has the best advice. "Do like I do. Walk up to your target, introduce yourself, melt his face off, run like the wind. Works every time." "If life gives you lemons... go murder a clown."
  10. Ok I just crossed the 100 hour playtime in Skyrim. ... And I'm FAR FROM DONE.

to bad i didnt screenshot when i got attacked by 2 dragons while i was busy killing a giant and suddenly get attacked by a mammoth. thank god i had shadowmere on my side

  11. There's a nice book on fighting mages. "Words and Philosophy" if I recall correctly. Says something in the line of "close the distance and hit them hard", which is exactly what I do. Run up to them and let them know what a shield in the face tastes like. Also, joined the Stormcloaks
  12. How difficult can this shit be. Too lazy. Sorry. I love how all the quests NPCs talk to you like they know your abilities. They're like, "So you want to join the Stormcloaks? Go kill an Ice Wraith", I'm like "Oh I'll be off killing an Ice Wraith then", and they're like "We'll see about that". Then, in my head, I yell "I KILL DRAGONS DUDE. DRAGONS. I CAN SACK THIS WHOLE PALACE AND SLIT ALL YOUR THROATS BEFORE BREAKFAST."
  13. There's some dude sitting between the bar and the front door (at least for me) you need to talk to. Maybe he's only there at specific hours. The guy with the iron helm complaining about security? No no. It'll be completely obvious when you have the right guy. Also I just discovered Blackreach. Seems to be an open area of several square kilometers. Underground. And it's gorgeous. I'll probably spend my whole evening here.
  14. There seem to be unofficial fixes for that. There's some dude sitting between the bar and the front door (at least for me) you need to talk to. Maybe he's only there at specific hours.
  15. Nor can you fix the bugs your game, like I did
  16. Do watch out with console commands. At one point I accidently all the quests. Loading my save fixed it but I still got a buckload of Steam achievements :')
  17. I'm nut buying any other house until I can afford the house in Solitude. No snowy cities for me. Markarth is a city build into a mountain. No snow, and natural dragon protection Moving my shit over is taking ages though... 20+ dragons worth of bones. How far away from the entrance to the city is it? That's one requirement I have for my homes, they have to be easily accessible during quests, no long walks. It's right next to the entrance to Markarth, only 20m up (two staircases). Also I figured out how to get stuck quest items out my inventory / fix bugged quests. Shawdow9000 explains it on page 1 and 2 of this GameFAQs topic: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/615805-the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/61049696 (tip: when using the ingame console, you can scroll up and down using page-up and page-down) I bothered plucking out the most interesting passages: And for removing items: The player.showinventory command will also show all items and their IDs in console.

  19. Love these town guards. "Watch the skies traveler" DRAGON ATTACKS THE VERY NEXT SECOND Edit: Also I'm moving all my crap to Marthal. The house there is amazing. Own enchanting room, bookcases, far more weapon racks, even a mannequin to dress up with armor!
  20. Also cheating just ruins the game for yourself. Real men keep dying until they find a way (when I couldn't take a mage head-on, I just turned invisible, sneaked behind him and slit his throat).
  21. You might want to fix that email address too then.
  22. http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/614968789445389270/15CF1D893D747C89B3BF1B8CBC1799D7C8740D13/ There is no such thing as pointless wandering in this game is there? I hit upon this place at the edge of the world. And now I'm on yet another great quest stuffed with mystery and potential for great reward.
  23. I'll need a clear list of possible enchantments because otherwise it'll be hard to determine who's hacking or not.
