Play on low playercount servers if you want to train your skills a bit. Flying jets and helis takes a bit of getting used to. And firefights in Battlefield are won by endurance, not by solo rushes like CoD.

Can't play this weekend since I'm in another part of the country with just my laptop (which could run BF3 but would probably burn right through the table while doing it). Cya guys monday, we got to keep having these amazing matches. And I need to get our own BF3 server thing running. But we're reworking the GC page a bit for that.

My win / lose ratio is 6.0. Wot. 18 games won, 3 lost.

It doesn't work at all on Linux or XP. And DirectX is always up-to-date if you have Windows 7 (and even Vista) because of Windows Update and the fact most game installers provide the necessary dlls. No need to do that manually.

Some servers are laggy, others function fine. Differs quite a lot so best advice is just to keep searching if your current server is shitty.

Been spending some more time in the multiplayer. Unlocked flares and heatseekers for choppers and jets, so I can finally function normally in the sky.

Just finished the singleplayer. Why does it try to be CoD so hard The QET events got annoying. Difference will be in the multiplayer I guess.

It won't be very moddable beyond several settings DICE offers. I can't offer any donation perks, although your voice will be heard if you don't like the mapcycle etc. Also, if you're interested in donating, please tell how much you're willing to donate monthly so I know how far we can get.

Several people are interested in having our own Battlefield 3 server, but there's one requirement: I'll need more donations. A 64-player BF3 server (we wouldn't want to settle for less would we?) costs 70 euros per month at i3D.net. I can't bring this up by myself, alongside the cost of our Fenrir server. So before totally throwing this option out of the window, I figured I'd ask the community if they're willing to pledge monthly donations for a server like this. I'd be happy if at least 75% of the cost could be covered by community donations (meaning at least 52 euros). If you're interested just reply in this topic with how much you'd be willing to donate monthly if we'd set up a BF3 server. Let's see how it goes.
