Nah the factions plug in is configured to take 4 power per death. If you had both power boost settings you'd have a max power of 8, and after one death have 4.

Ah, now the digging out a cave thing makes sense. Unfortunately the X-ray plug in is very strict in it's bans, and all bans done by this plug in are final. You will need to buy a new account if you wish to play on the server again.

Yeah could be an idea to temporarily disable a couple of the shop items for now. Iron armour will be a commodity worth far more than 200gc.

Everyone knows that everyone will play this map. It's three weeks, most of our player base consider suicide when the server's down for more than two hours. Whilst on paper it might not excite you all, why don't you hold off making a decision until you've played it? The entire dynamics of raiding are going to change, you're going to have to think (what!?) about your base design and location, because one wrong move leaves you very exposed. People are going to be stuck in poor armour, you're going to have to fight for the right to party smelt iron for tools to mine diamonds. And even if you manage that, there's no fancy enchantments or potions to make you more powerful than the next guy. Try it out. If you still think it's crap, fair enough. At least you've gave it a go and have weight behind your opinion.

It's against the rules listed in the server's welcome message. That's the problem and the original issue was resolved.

Thanks, can you please stick this kind of thing in the bans/unbans section in the stickied minecraft topic, and make sure you read this before posting. Faction was disbanded, and members banned until they submit an unban request.

Read this before posting. 72 hour ban for the sheer scale and audacity of it. Just before the contest was going to be judged you guys decided to screw up someone's hard work? Living up to your name I guess. If you entered the contest I'll ask for your entry to be ignored. Don't pull this kind of stunt in future.

You have the right sort of pacing and sporadic imagery building skills, but some of your sentence structures are a tad off. Try not to over use words such as and, or word things in unnecessary ways (unless you're writing dialogue by Yoda ) By elaborating on some details, and removing others you can create much longer and flowing paragraphs which makes reading it much more fluid. I particularly like the mountain paragraph. I like the set up are you planning on going any further? Key: {} - Remove. () - Reword. [] - Replace. || - Add something. Original: Propositions: Oh I wasn't sure if the guys in black and brown were meant to be bad, but if not one of them's holding his bad arm which isn't very nice.

Well, that couple screwing around from your ten people will undoubtedly multiply exponentially if you gave it to the faction wars mob. Tekkit alone, yay. Combined with pvp, nay.

Enchanting is going to be much harder, as books now require leather to craft. We need an animal tender, someone that is one with nature and able to get cows all amorous so they bone. And it won't be so bad because if we have say five people initially digging down we'll have enough iron to build picks within the first ten minutes, and you'll have the warehouse forman (hope you like the title) smelting, crafting and giving a fresh pick to you as you drop stuff off.

Perhaps we're just mistaking eachothers tone. I was initially joking about not counting you in hence the face. After initial resource gathering I don't see the pit mining taking too long, all you're doing is digging straight down. An hour, two at most?

Yes, you will need people that work together, which means: mine resources together, build together. what I was trying to point out is that probaly no-one (including you) won't feel like "only mining for others". People are willing to mine resources, if they can contribute in spending them as well. If you win a miljon you don't want your girlfriend to spend it all before you even touched it either. To build a huge breath taking base those -repeatable- walls (as seen in minky's screen) aren't really breath taking for me. I think you can make something much nicer by having different layers with different patterns. Thats just my input on the idea of the walls, if you disagree and prefer tesame wall then it's your call and I will deal with it. I'm more than willing to mine and gather resources because what I'm trying to achieve isn't for my self. It's to create something that the server can use and a way to bring green coins to Minecraft. To be honest you're the first person I've heard start kicking up a fuss about it. Have you ever been in a faction? Don't you all mine to begin with and then share the resources to build and create tools/armour...? It's exactly the same concept. And you are correct, this is one of a handful of experiences I've had with you, but to be honest your attitude at present doesn't exactly make me remorseful of that fact. If you had read Minky's post properly (and the part I quoted to you incase you missed the first time round) You'll see that he is asking people to come up with their own wall designs. And if you understand the semantics of the word wall, you'll know they are but four sides to a structure. It's not like we're raping the earth of its resources to build some wall and then call it a day, it just so happens to be one of the first things that needs doing and thus a logical choice to include in the beginning stages of a build project proposal. Oh and PS. Mining is one of my favourite parts to the game. Perhaps that's why Mojang decided 4/9ths of the game's title would be dedicated to representing that.
