Fortune won't affect the plug in, what you see there is some good old fashioned lying

Plus the new XP system is super easy, I got 4 levels today just from mining starting resources. There are plenty of things we could add though, villager eggs being the most useful.

Yeah I changed play.minecraft.nl to direct to the new server this morning. I like the idea, but as mentioned I don't know how well it would work after say an hour. But, I think it'd be awesome for a prized event. We could get people to sign up, split the into randomly allocated teams and then have a battle royal. Everyone in full diamond, no enchants or potions or food. Last men standing get a prize fund split between them (with the option of throwing down their stake and battling it out between the remaining men for full glory, if cocky enough )

It's pretty lenient in the way it bans, so I wouldn't have thought so. It just looks like most of our players used it Perhaps it would be better to issue time based bans instead of map based ones, for example first offence is two weeks doubling as it goes along. That way there's some continuity with how long people get punished for. If someone who joins the server and x-rays on the last day of a map, they won't really learn the value of the punishment, and will likely reoffend the following day and earn him self a permanent ban. It also removes the need for unban appeals, which should clear up the ban section as people know they have to wait until x date to be able to play again. It'd just be a matter of coding the plug in to work in conjunction with a time-ban plug in on bukkit

After a quick google it's not just our server, or our combination of plug ins. So I'd hazard a guess that it's bukkit. I'll add it in and look for a solution later on.

Perhaps it could work a little like combat tag, where if you're in combat you can't go home. That would allow people to still get inside and gear up if they spot an ambush, but not hit and run constantly. Sure there's that. But that's a factor with everything. As soon as a dupe is found the server's wrecked, hundreds of diamonds and fully enchanted gear roam around so why should eggs be any different? If anything seeing 10,000 villagers running around is a warning sign that there is a dupe that's exploitable.

This subject gets flamed on far too much. The only real which way about it is that it's listed as banned on the server's join notice and is therefore part of the server's rules.
