Yes i don't see any reason to change chems, because they are there to make it harder in the end. If we reduce them the end will become too easy for humans.

I was reading about the update and the hull function. Now my question is why not implement it in zombie survival, so headcrabs can for example go through vents without ducking and getting to places way easier ?

I'm no mapper, but i think you should add different textures [like clavus said] But the map itself looks really fun to play. lots of places to hide from zombies and still have good open spaces to run around shooting the shit out of zombies.
