Hi All,
I stumbled upon this community after feeling nostalgic and googling for any references of my maps. I was surprised to find that from the number of maps I've released and/or posted about, zs_pub has seemingly the largest online footprint. What was most surprising to me was reading a recently posted deviation claiming that my map was 'a classic' in ZS circles and that it was created by an unknown author. Whomever posted the deviation was correct that I released the map under the name 'Lamar', as I had a handle with that name at Facepunch. I have since posted on mapping communities under a few different handles. 
I can't recall exactly when I released this map, but I believe it was in 2006 when I was 15 or 16 at the time. Zs_pub was actually my first released map and I spent about three weeks developing it. At the time ZS players did not have the option of setting up barricades and had to rely on pushing props on their own to setup barricades, most rounds of ZS saw the human team get wiped out. I disliked how players would camp in single-entranced rooms in most maps and/or would run outside only to get inevitably killed, so I set out to create a small map that would force human players to work as a team and bunker down in a building with a number of entrances/weak points for the zeds to take advantage of. The map's design was influenced by 'Shaun of The Dead' and 'House of The Dead 2'.
Upon the map's release I only played the map several times before never playing ZS again and moving on with other mapping projects, namely contributing as a level designer for Goldeneye: Source until 2011 with the intention of building up a portfolio to become a professional level designer - zs_pub was never included in my listed works as it looked amateur. I work as a security engineer these days and I haven't mapped in four years, my last work was unreleased and meant to be a TTT map --- a glimpse of it can be seen below 😄
Since I never stuck around or even realized that this map apparently was played for years after its initial release, I am very curious to hear feedback on it and how long it stuck around for.

- GC/VIP Payment options
   In the near future we will be using a payment gateway. What this means is that members will have more payment options, such as paysafecard, SEPA and many other international and local providers
There are some exciting unannounced projects in the works of which you will hear more of when the time comes.
We are also looking to expand in to other games. Feel free to suggest.

As discord took over most of the community's communication, I still see value in our forums. As such, i have a few ideas to improve our forums.
- Ideas/suggestions per gameservers
   This will be a lot better than getting your suggestions and ideas from discord, which would often get overlooked because of other messages.
   Server managers/staff will be able to move suggestions and ideas to an accepted/declined section

- News and announcements per gameservers
   Subforums in game forums would make it more organized to look up news and announcements.
   It will also post to discord directly, which will promote the use of the forums.

- Ban requests/protests per gameservers.

- Layout changes
   Since the update our layout has been borked. This should be fixed. We should also provide dark mode.

- Team forums
    Teams should have a subforum where they can discuss amongst theirselves. We can use the forum's club feature for this.

Thats why i'm welcoming any community members with great ideas willing to run them.

   New website. It will have dashboards and better integration with our gameservers and other services.
   New backend API. Separated from the website, so we won't have problems with restarts and greencoins transactions/logins.

- Better TruckersMP integration
   As I am not a TruckersMP player, I am going to need some guidence on this.

- GC/VIP Payment options
   In the near future we will be using a payment gateway. What this means is that members will have more payment options, such as paysafecard, SEPA and many other international and local providers
There are some exciting unannounced projects in the works of which you will hear more of when the time comes.
We are also looking to expand in to other games. Feel free to suggest.
 
Forums changes
As discord took over most of the community's communication, I still see value in our forums. As such, i have a few ideas to improve our forums.
- Ideas/suggestions per gameservers
   This will be a lot better than getting your suggestions and ideas from discord, which would often get overlooked because of other messages.
   Server managers/staff will be able to move suggestions and ideas to an accepted/declined section

- News and announcements per gameservers
   Subforums in game forums would make it more organized to look up news and announcements.
   It will also post to discord directly, which will promote the use of the forums.

- Ban requests/protests per gameservers.

- Layout changes
   Since the update our layout has been borked. This should be fixed. We should also provide dark mode.

- Team forums
    Teams should have a subforum where they can discuss amongst theirselves. We can use the forum's club feature for this.
 
Events
Events are a fun way for us to engage with each other.
Thats why i'm welcoming any community members with great ideas willing to run them.

Hello everyone,
As you may know, i will be taking over @Cena's role and will be leading the community.
Under Cena's leadership we have been planning and working on some great things to improve and grow this community, all of which will continue as planned.
I'm looking forward for us to work togheter on making Mr. Green Gaming the community it deserves to be.
I want to thank @Cena for his work in keeping Mr. Green Gaming alive, and wish him good luck and fortitude in his future endeavors.

As some members may not know our current plans, here's a list:
Current projects
Some things to look out for in the near future:

- Zombie Survival:
   Read the announcement topic and keep an eye out for news in the ZS forums section and in our discord server.

- MTA:SA Multi Gamemode server
   Will be feature rich, and hopefully a true competitor to our peers.
   Some things planned are tournament/clan wars support, deeper player progression, smoother gameplay experience and of course, rooms/arenas.

July and August were the worst month I ever experienced with Mr. Green (Financially speaking). Very low donations. However, the old donations covered up these 2 months, but it did effect our balance badly. It went down fast and it is low now. I hope we can recover from it together. 
Thanks to everyone who is putting every cent into this community. It really is appreciated and because of you the community is still online and running. 
Little reminder: Other expenses could be forum renewal, developers payments, server advertising and anything similar to that.

Kmz is a problem, but i dont think groundkilling is a problem, I was actually surprised when i returned to Mr. Green because years ago nobody ever talked about or had a problem with it.
I actually made a kmz detector when i made cargame, so maybe i can use it for shooter. Although i dont know how it will fit since shooter is a no-respawn gamemode.

Your mute is justified as you were extremely obnoxious after being told not to.
As for the blocker part, i trust @Haxardous's judgement. On the chance that he was wrong, we are talking about a one hour blocker mode.
You claimed you were going for the achievement, i can see how that can go wrong, but even accidental blocking is blocking if you are not actively participating in  a race.
I'm going to lock this topic as there is clearly no real abuse here.

Hello guys, so this is our financial report for the first 6 months of 2020. Thanks to everyone who contributed with every cent of their own. It really matters a lot to me and shows me that we still have players who don't wanna see this community dying. Most of the work with the community have been done thanks to @AfuSensi, but lets not forget our other developers who also helped us out and still helping us (@LuCkEr- @Mihoje @Haxardous). Also our server managers who are contributing a lot as well (@GoldBerg and @Lejorah).
Hopefully the other half of 2020 will be better financially. Enjoy your summer vacation everyone!
