Chill out it's a game feature most people already know about it.. If typing /kick #0000FFSenate is hard then kick him via the admin panel.. If you're kicking from IRC it won't be a problem cause you'll be kicking his ID anyway. BTW: I just tested the command /kick and yes it kicks players even if their name is colored.. So what exactly is the problem? :/

In that case lose the rating system too.. Because it now shows "Random(?)" as in there's no rating for Random yet or "Play Again" which is pointless

I think voting shouldn't have even been enabled in the first place.. I think players only vote for maps because of their names. Most of the time I see people vote for a map that has an attractive name (even rating) like "need4speed", but when they play it, they say it sucks and probably wish they hadn't voted for it.. This way, the server makes random decisions about the next map. Nobody gets upset because their map wasn't voted for, as nobody actually votes. I hope that voting will remain disabled, it's a better asset to the server.

I had this problem once and there was nothing left for me other than reinstall. Ever since the 1.0.3 version, MTA has a built-in check for modified files which goal is to prevent people from cheating, be it handling.cfg, gta3.img or modified san andreas map (like having a road on water so that you don't drown but everyone else would) If you made any backups, try restoring them.

I just tested this map. Hmm, nice. But too simple? :/ Why are all your maps so straight? All you have to do is drive straight, maybe take a corner or 2 and voila, the map's over. Try to make them harder I don't know.. It seems to me even your 7-year-old brother can finish this. Btw: After I finished the race, the votemap froze. I am not sure if it's a map issue or an issue with my resources. Let's wait and see if it works for other people who are willing to test it.

What's your average FPS ? If you are unable to have a steady 31 then everyone else ALREADY has unfair advantage. If your fps is 31, you'll most likely be able to run it at 35-40 too. make sure all GFX settings are low btw , even try resolution, it'll give a huge boost, at least for my laptop it does

60 is kinda much and i am not even sure if any of us can actually achieve it. Well, any increase fits in my opinion as I don't mind the number itself

As we all know, the maxfps for the server is currently 31. I was thinking maybe we could discuss a potential increase of it? I really like this game running (a bit) smoother. So why exactly is it limited to such low fps? I'd like your opinions on this and hopefully we can make the server a better place with this improvement. BTW: For people who say their PC runs the game too slow and they'll not be able to compete with the other racers, well, if you reduce your graphic settings you'll get a boost of fps that may help you. Almost everybody should be able to run this game at a decent FPS if their GFX Settings aren't very detailed. I was thinking maybe we could have it around 40? I think people who can run it at 31 will have no trouble with running it at 40. State your opinion, please!

If they don't die when they hit barrels it may be because of bad Synchronization. (Your computer summons the barrels and you see them when spectating somebody that doesn't see them because they had been previously been blown up by somebody else). If he doesn't see them, in your screen it looks like he is going THROUGH them but he actually isn't. Edit: Yeah well, Ywa pretty much explained it, I guess I wasn't fast enough with the "post" button

Yeah the ping kicker used to be 350 which is why a lot of people were getting kicked when downloading the map or the resources. I've set it to be 500. If other admins don't like the way it is feel free to change i won't mind, but the fact is a lot of people will get kicked if it is set under 500.. It's actually more of a mess when they download the required files. @Grim_Reeper: Even if your ping is 300, it will go a lot higher once you start downloading.

Some players just don't care about finishing the race, so (on circular maps) they purposely block the way to try to stop everybody from finishing and that makes them unable to finish as well.. The kind of blocking that I described is the one I think deserves kick/ban. All other forms of blocking should be allowed in my opinion. PS: Why do I think the blocking that I described should be punished? Because the player who does it only cares about fucking everybody else's fun up.

Not quite. I'm not sure about the limit but it isn't 31. You can still play the game at 32 or 33.. even 34.. I think above 35 is kickable

First things first, intentional blocking isn't tolerated on the server. Though, if this was your first time I reckon you should have got kicked and not banned. Just wait for Juggernaut to reply he'll set things straight.

as far as i know the bug(windows Xp+dual core) gives random fps.. seen people have 45..40..50 or even 55.. these get kicked. But since the fps-kicker only kicks players with 35+ or so, people like MTA|KingD will still be able to play here.. I think what should be done is not raise the MaxFPS of the game, but lower the limit of the auto-kicker.. Like making it that anyone above or equal to 32 be kicked.
