On a forum you can't expect a thread to be used by just 3 people, that's not why it's a discussion board.

So why don't you take MLP school gear with you when you go to school? i don't have one... second i don't use school gears... i use safety helmet, panths, jacket, boots, goggles, hearing protectors and vests to carry all the crap i need. Alright, that makes sense. What I'm trying to make you realize is that, even in the comfort of your own home, you can still endlessly annoy people by being WAY too passionate about your hobby. Like I said, the majority of L4G users either doesn't care or hates MLP. Because the MLP fans rub it in our face with both their avatars and random MLP threads, we start flaming you and you start flaming back. I really don't give a crap about what your hobbies are, but I'd prefer it for the sake of everyone that you just kept it all to yourself. If you'd be passionate about something original or interesting, then it would be thread worthy, this is not.

Yeah, like I need to prove that. You know as well as I the answer would be "No". I doubt you even watch MLP openly, or that your friends know you watch it. When you do something in secret, you know it's frowned upon by most of society.

calling others immature is mature? well fine by me... yeh this thread should be locked. these people are not going to stop anytime soon... It's not "mature", it's justified. If you ask any random person on the street if they think that a teenage male liking pink ponies is mature, I can assure you they'll say "No".

If you want the bashing to stop, you should start with yourself. Are we interested in ponies or "bronies"? No, so don't make a thread and then cry when you're being hated. The pictures with the ponies you're posting only make you look more and more immature. It's sad, even.

Pretty good start. Texturing is something that really takes some time before you get the hang of it. I had trouble with them for a while as well, for example: Although it's getting better now, I still feel like proper texturing is one of the harderst part of modeling sometimes.

watching ponies are immature? no... why would it be? just because we watch mlp doesn't mean that we are childish. tell me what you think as childish acts. Watching or even liking it isn't really immature. The immature part is the obsession with it. Setting your avatar as a pony? Wanting a proper discussion about ponies? Come on. Watching it with your little sister/cousin/whatever and thinking "Actually, this show isn't bad" is okay, but that's where you should draw the line.

I think it's safe to say that if you like ponies on the level that you guys do, you can be as grown up as you imagine yourself to be. The fact is that it's simply immature.

There's like 2 or 3 people here that get hard from brightly colored, fictional horses. I hardly think a thread for these people is needed, since you could just open a multi user chat. I wouldn't be surprised if 2 - 3 people here have a scat fetish, and we aren't exactly waiting for a thread on that either, are we?

Just a heads up, this thread is bound to become a shitstorm in a matter of days, so don't act surprised when it gets closed. Personally, I don't really want to express my opinion about My Little Pony, because that opinion might start off the shitstorm right away. The only thing I want to say is that I'm surprised that it has come so far that even a gaming forum, with a userbase consisting mostly out of (teenage) males between 14 - 19, needs to have a thread about ponies.

I'm afraid I won't be able to make it after all, since I have to work 'till 23:00 instead of the expected 20:00. Sucks.

Pretty sure I heard somewhere that the graphics aren't final, because they couldn't bother to ship the Alpha with high res textures or because they weren't quite finished. Something like that.

I've had the very same problem with some Dell computer. Caused both the computer and the GPU to crash under even little load (8800GTX at the time). Although that PC used a cheap 400W PSU with very low efficiency (not enough amp on the 12V rail and all that jazz), and not a powerful Corsair. Anyway, good luck with it.

I'm closing this topic because it has no place in Bans & Unbans. The matter has been settled. It's the topcrew's job to monitor the admins and correct them if needed. Ofcourse you can express your concerns if you feel the need to, but considering your short time of activity in our community it just seems out of place. About the "racism"; There is none. The way we interact with eachother might differ from the way you are used to, but let me assure you that there's no actual discrimination or hate going on. If you feel discriminated for some reason, you can notify an admin using PM.

Although the rule is "Admins are always right", you can still ask questions or be skeptical. In this case however, think it's sort of reckless for a 30-posts-user (with limited knowledge about the server administration/history) to go around accusing admins and demanding demotions.
