I disagree with your opinion of RAID0. it isn't stupid and you don't have a abnormally high risk of data loss. its the same risk. not even twice the risk. since it acts like one single HDD. Example: Singe HDD - When crashed, you lose all data on that drive. RAID0 2 or more drives acting like one - When crashed, you lose all data on those drives. PLus 6GB/s for a HDD? most budget SSD's wont even make that.* 3 GB/s is more than enough. most HDD's wont even use 60% of the total 3GB/s bandwith* *after looking at some reviews of some recent HDD's

Indeed. That's why i'm a bit shocked that it was the PSU. i never buy chinabomb PSU's. definitively not for a HD 6990 :') How ever, a Brand PSU of 450W powering a 600W system isn't such a good idea. it may handle it, but not for long. instead, i'd use a 520 Brand PSU. but that's my opinion 4 more work days until i get my PSU back (i hope)

Well, that didn't help. i came to the conclusion that my PSU was very unstable. so i send it to Corsair as a RMA subject. Hopefully that was the "bug" and when the new PSU comes back my system will be stable again. I'll keep you up to date!

Ok. after some thinking and being pissed off, i came to the decision to just re-install a copy of Win7 x64. After that i will only install the drivers needed to play games.(Chipset drivers, Marvel storage driver(RAID) and AMD 6990 drivers) I'll keep you up to date!

i Highly doubt its dust. since my room is pretty much dust free and i work hard to keep it that way. plus my airflow is more then good to prefent dust building up. But, i'll check it right now. The most unlikely thing, will be the likeliest thing to happen.
