I think I'd have to agree, the more information you have on screen, the more off-putting It is for new players. I'm sure pressing f4 isn't to strenuous hm fair enough. I didn't realise that was how the toggle thing worked. It would still be quicker just to do it the chatbox way than pressing f4 though but I guess there was no real issue in the first placel. Just an idea. I think I'll stop having 'ideas', most of them seem to suck XD

no because that only shows your default setting I often switch between having it enabled and disabled. The thing in the options menu is only for keeping it the same, it doesnt tell you if its enabled at that very moment.

I was wondering if it would be possible to add something to the HUD in zs which says whether autoredeem is on or not. It would save me and many others having to chat spam "!autoredeem" when we need to check if its enabled.

I'm sorry to ruin all the fun for you, but this isn't puzzle gamemode. It's zombie survival! You need realistic maps, like in left4dead D:.I agree with the "epic" map thing, we surely need more unique, fun maps to play... Yeh fair enough Learning gamemode lua is on my to do list so you never know, I might code it and host it myself one day.

I think what is really needed are some more interesting maps. There are too many lame house maps. I really enjoy all of clavus' maps becasue they are original and easy to get lost in. We need more 'maze' maps like this which don't involve just camping. When I learn to map (if I ever get round to it) I'll try and make an epic maze. Maps like this will make zs much more interesting without any extra work to the gamemode itself. You would also be able to get lots of maze maps because they seem fairly easy to make. Also on a side note, I made my first map ever the other day which is basically a long corridor. I think if i put a zombie spawn at one end with lots of tires and the human spawn at the other it would be a fun minigame you could have like every 5 rounds. The round would last 5 minutes and the humans would have no weapons. The humans would just have to dodge the zombies and the tires and try to survive the round. I think that would be extremely fun.

This sounds like a reasonable idea but there is a big flaw... It would be very dull playing as zombie. The only thing that keeps me playing when humans are camped in an inevitable win position in normal zs is knowing that the round will end eventually. Having a gamemode which will last until humans are dead with the zombies in zs just wouldnt work if the humans are camped well as the round could potentially last forever. The only reason it worked in l4d was because of the fast paced nature of the game and intelligent ai. The fact is, I don't think this would work if it was based on the existing gamemode of zs and it would probably require development from scratch.

Damn maybe I should have waited til later on in the competition to make an entry. Mine really sucks comapred to everyone elses >
