Server is back up again on request. It's hard to know when Notch is going to release the update anyway. EDIT: Don't forget to read Notch's blog: http://notch.tumblr.com/ Summary: * Minecraft goes into beta on December 20th * This means the price goes up to 15,- euros * They're removing the part that says that you'll get all future versions for free from the license. This means that buying the beta will only give you all version up till the official release of MC. However, since that passage still is in the current license, buying Minecraft RIGHT NOW still means you get all future versions for free.

MC server will be down until serverside inventory update (the proper one). Also Ywa will be reconfiguring a few things on Delia.

kitty0706 is the king of random GMod animations, even DasBoSchitt can't come near how fast this guy poops out fart jokes (plus kitty0706's a better stopmotion animator, seriously). You either love it or hate it, but I've been laughing quite a lot at this (even though it's random, the jokes are great). It's also 15 minutes long so don't expect you can still think straight after watching. EDIT: Also, did you spot the reference to my ravebreak script

I never play hardcore. I prefer the superiority-by-information warfare you can achieve in normal play. Sometimes I just take the UAV and continuously spot enemies behind the lines. You'll be surprised by how efficient your team gets all of a sudden.

Also I can barely play this game properly without some friends helping out. Everyone else on your team is always retarded.

I'd hardly call the explosions in BC2 realistic, they're full-on Hollywood explosions. Which means they're more awesome. Full realism sucks anyway. Realistic elements should only be added to a game if they're actually nice gameplay mechanics.

BC2 isn't realistic, it's meant to be cinematic. Having awesome shit happening around you without it being scripted, and without lowering to an arcade level like CoD. The explosions in BC2 are so fucking beautiful. EDIT: Also, I happened to read the Battlefield 3 will be build on a 2nd generation Frostbite engine. Hopefully it'll be more of a PC game (moddability and such).

For anyone interested in a making weapon designs like NECROSSIN, use my newly released SWEP Construction Kit. Been working on that tool because I need it for GunRun too. I need weapons. Tons of em.

It used to be always like this. CoD 4 had public binaries for example. Problem is that pirates crack these and set up servers for other pirates. By making servers rent-only you pretty much remove the option for pirates to play multiplayer. Heavy Metal isn't really a map for just 4vs4 players. Needs at least 8 players per team to make things interesting.

If those bitches at DICE would release the server binaries to public I gladly would. But instead they were one of the first to go on the bullshit route of rent-only servers. I'm not going to hire a BC2 server unless someone offers a bag of money.
