I'll steal one of your links to summarize my statement:

Yessir. And how to make some good stairs? Just make the blocks small enough? Yup. Don't forget to turn them into func_detail brush entities, or you'll screw over vvis.

Yer asking the wrong person.

And good riddance too! ZS is improving bit by bit.

Need to collect some more reference pics from the series first.

We have a winner. The setting of that flash series amazes me.

UGLY. GREEN. FOG.

No. This will only cause people to hide in a corner for the entire game.

All I need: (ignore the text, only Google search image I could find) -
* Keep getting stuck / hanging on physics props * There is NO hit indication whatsoever when you're zombie or human. I don't even know when I'm being hit as a zombie. Did you override the Gamemode.HUDShouldDraw? That also overrides the default hit indicator.

This is just retarded. Declined.

Hehe, nice. Never put enough time in this program though. I lose motivation the second I get started. Besides a tutorial on how to use the program, I need a tutorial on how to actually make a song :<

Wonder if it'll be a free choice which person from the first 4 dies, since it has to translate to the L4D2 DLC.

Then go do recon shit. That's the name of the class for a reason. Spot, drop mortars / plant C4, throw motion sensors, and all that kind of stuff.
-
Got all engineer and vehicle stuff. Don't know how much I still need for the other classes, but I'm well underway.

Only those 2? A total of 5 gametypes would be more appropriate imo With 'say' I meant 'for example'. Hell if I know how many I'd add. The biggest point would be making clear to players what they're playing at that moment.
-
The idea would be to make seperate setups for existing maps that would allow players to vote for a map, but also for a gamemode to play on it. Say, play either 'classic survival' or 'VIP' on de_industry.
-
No, the idea is that the survivor faction consists of ordinary humans, that do not have the same firepower as the special forces and thus are more suited for objective maps where there needs to be a balance on both teams. What I envisioned for the helicopter was combining the scripted flyable helicopters with weapon seats welded to em. If you combine this with a large open map with a small undead infested town in the middle that needs to be infiltrated, epicness ensues (at least in my imagination).

My previous gamemode idea Sniper vs. Sniper is still in the back of my head, but at the same time, people in Infected Wars want to see some change. So I came up with some ideas to expand IW, although I don't know if I should drop the current structure of the gamemode, or just add new game types that appear on some maps. One note: nothing is set in stone. These are just ideas. They might never come to fruition. 1) Make objective based maps. Objective idea 1: about 2/3 of the players spawn as undead at a location on the map. Near them is a unholy totem obelisk thing that the special forces need to blow up. The special forces spawn at the other side of the map. Could possibly add some cool stuff like a bomb carrier. Or a helicopter or some shit. Objective idea 2: VIP style gamemode where on either the human or undead team a priority target needs to be slain. 2) Add more 'factions' beside undead and special forces. Maybe rebels as survivors, they act as a weaker human faction. Shitton of possibilities for a new undead faction. Anyway, just brainstorming. If no other project comes up (like, Crash 'n Smash becoming part of GMod), I might just get bored enough to work this out somewhat.

I just fell in love with the mounted smoke grenade launcher. That thing is so bloody useful to cross sniper infested choke points and to cover yourself while arming objectives. I love this game. Whether you lose or win entirely depends on the team that holds the most intel and utilizes it.

Deluvas is already working on a big update, but it got delayed because of some personal issues.

So i have to buy it form steam to get this? or it is possible to buy it in a game store and inntall it on steam? It doesn't get shipped with Steamworks so no, retail keys won't work on Steam.
