From what I've read so far, you'll be able to RENT dedicated servers. I fear the server binaries won't be public. If that's the case, we probably won't take a BFBC2 server unless there's a lot of interest from the community, and the price isn't too stupid.

Few people want to spend 200 bucks on 80GB. And buying a HD5850 while their HD4850 is still fine... A SSD is the best investment in your PC you can do atm. Don't be dissing my card >: ( It's just that 80GB isn't enough. I'd want to be able to dump all my games on it too.

Downloadserver works fine, I just tested it. Just tell them to delete all files in the garrysmod/cache/dua folder if the problem persists.

The suits were made to fit in with the overall style. If I'd add more hats, it would become just as much of a circus as Zombie Survival.

Correction: BF1942 + Desert Combat mod = epic. At least there you felt like a sky ninja when using an Apache heli.

Ywa is a crappy mapper But yeah, I prefer to work on solo projects when it comes to mapping.

Remembers me of the previous community map we tried to make, although that didn't really have a theme. The main problem you'll run into is the different mapping style of people. Not using nodraw surfaces / poor optimization / etc.

It turned somewhat worse for the turtling engie, but the offensive engie is still fun to play. Just never build more than a level 1 sentry on the biggest hotspots and lure people in it, while attacking them with your shotgun at the same time. Works wonders. On another note, I remember the word 'stacking' only to be used when one team actually had more players than the other. Now it's just friends who join one team, and thus have an advantage in teamwork, nothing more. But that's the whole point of the game, the team with the most teamwork wins.
