I had a host migration once, although it's handled pretty decent. The game froze, said it lost connection, next thing it found a new host and unfroze the game. Everyone just went on with where they left off. My ping's fine too.

Shorter then MW1? WTF, and I thought MW1 was very short. I think it was about the same length. You're going to a lot more different locations in MW2 though.

Been playing the multiplayer and here's my two cents: - Whack-a-mole gameplay. This is really annoying. Get a kill, get killed yourself, in an endless circle. At one point you realize that you're just running in circles shooting other people that are running in circles. Guess it's only fun with friends, since there's no sense of tactical gameplay in a random matchmaking team. - The killstreak upgrades. WAAAAAAY too many. Seriously, every goddamn second there's either an UAV in the sky, a Harrier raining down fire, a bombing run, a Predator missle coming down or a supply drop. I'm heading back to TF2 for real multiplayer. Guess MW2's multiplayer can entertain at times, but it's not that awesome.

Next time, say something related to what you see on screen.

Finished singleplayer too. Damn, I feel like a made a world trip in 5 hours. There's so many locations coming by. Oil rigs, castles, mountain ranges, sandstorms, snowstorms, thunder storms and much more.

Lies. By 'no dedicated servers' they mean no publicly available server binaries for people to set up their own dedis. There will be dedicated servers, but all managed and hosted by the developer.

Ordered my copy. 35 euros for a UK import (including shipping). I also see it as a small payment for having enjoyed the CoD 4 campaign (which I got through less legal ways). I'm sure the singleplayer will be amazing. I'll see how multiplayer works out, but I don't care much for it anyway.

I worked a little on this last week, just after the thread came on FP. Pretty fun. Wasn't very motivated to go on though. Also, spamming the move: forward command will make your bot go faster.
