I haven't removed cranetop and vegas is not big. You just don't know your way around, so that makes it look big.

Sounds like the SWEP bug. When you get a lag spike, it could happen that suddenly all your weapons are no longer in the correct slot (it's a common GMod bug). You can only get to them by scrolling with your mouse wheel. After you select them that way, they'll appear in the right slot again. You don't lose or gain any weapons or ammo.

Been playing and testing. PLR_Vegas_B01: Nice payload race map, very unique style (although weird). Gameplay looks good too. pl_deadwood Seems ok. Not too special or anything. pl_Waste Map isn't too special in terms of visuals, but the gameplay mechanic (cart tug-o-war) is interesting. pl_woodland_b5 Can't open the download page of this map for some reason. pl_haywood_beta6 Looks nice, bit small. Two stages. pl_borax_rc I like this one. Massive single stage map (like badwater) with big ravines and stuff. I think this is a good candidate. I added a poll for you guys to fill in. I still think cranetop is a good map to play on.

Just de-install those Creative programs. I don't think it should mess up your audio card drivers. If it does, drivers are free to download. Tried googling your problem?
