We've finally ordered our server upgrades, for which we'll receive a quotation soon. I can't really predict how fast our servers will be upgraded but it won't be long now. Even Silver Dots post is redundant. The TF2 replay system made the Source recorder method obsolete. It's only applicable to other Source games.

Ok, first thing: DISREGARD EVERYTHING PEOPLE SAID IN THIS TOPIC. Nobody here seems aware of how the replay system works. Dmx files are demo files. You can edit and render these ingame using the replay editor. Find a tutorial on the TF2 wiki how to use it. Don't use fraps, that's pointless and inefficient in this case.

Pro tip: You can bypass open_basedir with symlink()s and you can bypass disabled functions by running your own php extensions with dl()

Seems we'll have to buy BF3 retail because EA started pulling its latest games (like Crysis 2) from Steam to promote its own Origin platform. And I don't want to install Origin.

So I finally decided to go for a dual monitor setup and attach my older 1280x1024 Dell screen. Now I'm wondering why the f- I didn't do that before, it's awesome! I'm still finding a setup to settle at, but this is what I currently have. I use DisplayFusion to manage multi-monitor rotating wallpapers etc. I installed Stardock Fences to group icons there on the right. I got sick and tired of Windows fucking up the icon order at the occasional BSoD (which I had a lot during my failed overclocking attempts). It also clears up my main screen nicely.

Whoever visits Newgrounds should know these little gems. That WAS Project Cafe. It's called the Wii U. New console with a bastard child of the iPad and Nintendo DS as controller. Controller Console (backwards compatible with the Wii and can use all the Wii controllers) The console specs are still shady, but apparently it's powered by the same processor architecture as IBM's Watson supercomputer (NOT the exact same processor of course), and an AMD HD GPU. Supports 1080p, HDMI, etc etc
