Alright, I just swiped all the faction data so everyone will have to reconstruct their old factions and reclaim their land. Don't abuse the situation or I'll whoop your ass.

Yeah I have no idea what just happened. All the faction data still exists but for some reason a new players.json was created (which couples all the player data with the factions).

I'm going to render a map in singleplayer, see if it's any good, then set up a few things (safe zones / world border), and upload the data. EDIT: World backup has been posted in the pinned topic. Cartograph here (12MB jpeg! Also, spot the render glitch).

Ok updating the Factions plugin without updating its data somehow screwed the block build permissions. We're going to start a new map within the hour.

Make that a thousand and one.

I implemented two new features in the Factions plugin: * TNT no longer destroys blocks in faction area if nobody of that faction is online (so people have a fighting chance). Creepers will work regardless. * You can no longer use "f home" when an enemy is within 16 units. This prevents chickening out of fights and ambushes. I have altered the deal, pray I do not alter it any further.

I was there in the beginning when it happened, those SkyRaiders guys used a speed and jump hack, and came into our base. So i went offline after a while because the where with for full Diamond armourd noobs. Retard was still online I think, and then they burned our storage room and left with their cheats. Really hate them, What people were cheating? You guys should learn to make screenshots of these things.

Just like the real world! In order to not be attacked you have to not give them a reason. Monster was enemy with Mungol for a long time, and their base apparently wasn't as impenetrable as they thought.

Ok, calm down people. EmRA, in the end it was a dick move from Mungol to steal such a wonderful castle so you could at least have Zunz have his rage. I'll probably restart the map on Friday. Got family stuff on Saturday if I remember well.

Bluh, the Minecraft server kept molesting Delia, so it'll be off for now until we find solutions. EDIT: we really don't know what's going on. If either Delia is having trouble keeping Minecraft up, or if Lite has problems keeping his network DDoS free. EDIT2: okay Ywa gave green light, he now blames a DDoS (not aimed at us, but some other client on the network). Minecraft is up again.

In an astonishing turn of events caused by a flood of backstabbery, raiding, precious tears and rage, Mungol stole the Monster castle.

If Nether support is added, it might take some time for the mods to get updated too. Wonder how this'll work out in Factions.

Minecraft 1.6 is getting SMP Nether support according to Notch's twitter. Plus he said the update will probably be some time away.

A game that takes some of the Minecraft elements and does something original instead of just copying it! Action looks pretty cool, especially the bosses. Still, the fact that it's 2D doesn't make the exploration as fun. And I'm not a huge fan of the design either, but that's a matter of taste.

Same. It would've been better if he was caught alive and brought before court. Now he'll just remain a legend for other extremists to aspire to.
