Future proofing for the second GTX 580 I guess? Also from what I read, higher Watt PSUs are usually more efficient than lower rated PSUs. So a 1000 Watt PSU pulls a little less power than a 600 Watt PSU if your system requires 550 Watt to run, for example. Sense of a 2nd GTX580 ?

And also, why 1000 Watt PSU?
