I've put together a .zip file containing everything you need to install shaders to make them a bit more pleasant to look at. I returned home to find the Arma II disk I was looking for in my PC disc tray. And my father had even installed it! I shall hopefully be on in the next day or so.

Ooh also I was thinking we could maybe do a donation event when we have a date for 1.3? Every 5 euro's spent gets an extra 25%, €10 50% etc? Or say the person closest to an amount between 5-10 euros gets a bonus 10k greencoins. Might encourage some people sitting on the fence about donating to pull out their cash.

The way I've seen it implemented elsewhere is the same as f homing, where you can't do it when enemies are within are certain distance, but that was with towny I think so I'm not sure if it would work with factions. But that is a very good point

A lot of people are asking for a /spawn command. Would it be in the realms of possibility to add it as a green coin perk?

Prefer that to the zombie outbreak/lsd story. Certain bath salts are dangerous, there's a long list of weird stuff that people do on them. One kid took them at home, walked into the kitchen where his dad was and stared out the window. He said he saw loads of police cars and started saying he didn't want to go to jail, and then grabbed a knife and slit his own throat. I see where you're coming from. But you also need to view the situation from my point of view. When someone that has duped items dies or is raided, the next person picks up that gear. In the case of stacked potions, you don't need hacks to pick up the stack: only create it. Now there's no way for me to point the finger at a particular person just because they know how to dupe, or own duped items. I have previously been in both situations. If I were to ban someone for duping, it would set the precedent that anyone can post saying they found some dude with 64 diamond blocks and I'll ban them. That person could be a duper. Or he could be someone that's just joined the game, killed a guy walking past and hit the jackpot. What I need is solid, video evidence. As I mentioned on the thu'um box, all you'll have to do is switch on a screen recording program and head out to fight them. If they're spamming 3 potions per second it will be obvious and I can take action. However with the information provided so far it would be unjust to ban them. The new map is not far away. Everyone will have a clean slate, and I can hopefully stop any duping issues swiftly. What is imperative is that the people in the community report duping to me straight away - don't dupe some stuff for your self of sit on it. Just report it. As you have experienced, duping ruins a map very, very quickly. And then we have to sit and wait for a new map just to rebalance the server. Don't give up. Just screen record and keep fighting.

This has been mentioned a lot before. We used to use a different plug in (combat tag) but it became self aware or something and stopped working. Hopefully when minecraft moves to the new modding API it will provide a bit more stability and cross computability between plug ins. In the mean time, the dynmap cloak (ninja perk in GC store) is a huge help. Especially if you only use it tactically. You can get it for a donation of 3 euros, and it will last long after robots take over the world and make us their slaves.

Well I don't know how long you've been around after your sabbatical. But I'm talking for the majority of this map, after the first couple of weeks. This is in direct comparison to when we first upgraded the server and I had to sit clicking refresh 20x just to get on. I guess most of our regulars are banned.

I discussed the arena plan with Clavus and he mentioned using safe/warzones. I was thinking after we have finished constructing the arena, I can claim the area as warzone and then the faction can continue building cool stuff.

I've asked people this before but I haven't got a straight answer... What attracts you to ponies? What is it about, what does it mean, what is the point? I feel it's just because I'm getting old, like if I was 20 when pokemon came out I wouldn't have understood it. But then even the Yogscast made sunshine of israpony.

Whilst I may not be on the game 24/7 I keep a look out on the bans/unbans section at least twice a day. So if you report a hacker, I will see it and deal with it quickly.I am also available through PM. If you PM me I'll get an email to my phone and if I'm around my laptop I can deal with it. I think we have a larger problem with people being suspicious of every man and their wolf being hackers - I think the actual amount of people that hack is around 10-20 times smaller than people say. Often with Minecraft the case is if they're better than you they're hackers. I'm moving back from uni on Saturday, and will have more time for MC straight away. When the new map comes out I will be on a fair amount to get some projects underway. Until then, I wouldn't sit and worry at night about the MC server not having at least one admin on at all times, as you would be surprised how intricate the xray plug in is, and with the move to more sophisticated anticheat plug ins, we'll hopefully see a reduction in abuse. Syncr0's idea is great, and I commend him for it. Whilst we might bring in a few hackers we also might bring in some good guys. I don't think I've seen the server above 50 lately, so more numbers would mean more people to raid

Minky is pit boss/HR manager, so I imagine he will arrange something (for the left4green faction we had a giant PM conversation). As soon as we have a date for 1.3 we can get things in motion
