Just realised I've been playing through this whole time on expert. All 59 hours of it. After knocking it back a notch, I feel so much happier without getting one shot pwned by fucking archers and shit all the time.

I have a feeling I'm not going to like faction wars as much with all this enchantment bullshit. It's taking a simple idea and adding webbed feet to it for the sheer fun of it.

After playing for Skryim for nearly five days non-stop, and after just finishing the Dark Brotherhood missions; I awoke next to my girlfriend in the middle of the night and for some reason imagined crouching and sneak attacking her with a bow. I was put off by the fact I'd get 1000 bounty for killing her. So basically. Skyrim actually made me think about killing my girlfriend, and if it weren't for the bounty I'd have no moral objection. I've not played it in 3 days out of fear of becoming a murderer

Seems to me you're tryna' be cocky when BassCannon has 2 stacks of 64 Diamond Blocks & 8 stacks of TNT. Hmmmm, that's odd. Sounds like in our absence, you've got overly cocky. I remember when we raided your first base and found a stack of 64 diamond blocks from your glitching fiasco. I find life is full of such coincidences, fancy two clans you've been in amounting such a giant horde of diamonds?

On the 360, if you install HD texture pack whenever you die you respawn without a gun. And the matchmaking facilities SUCK.

I've been saying this for a while! Suggested some ideas to Clav but I dunno if he liked them or not. I think the package idea is good though, where for example €5 gets you full iron, some whatever materials, a couple of diamonds and 1 safe chest thats kept at the spawn or something, then for €10 you get full diamond armour, a double chest, more resources and a name change if wanted or something like that, (the name change thing would be good I think?) What do you think of that idea? I, unfortunately don't like it. Donations shouldn't be game changers. Just hassle savers. I could walk into a server having never played, pay 10 euros and have my faction in full armour and raiding everyone. If there is ever a store established, ores shouldn't be sold - in any form. Paying a euro to save your self mining and smelting 25 stacks of cobble? Yeah. Paying a euro to dominate a server? No. And name changes would be problematic. There are already imitations of factions, there would soon be imitations of players and a lot of confusion. Plus, we wouldn't know who to hate if people went and changed their nickname.

I realise there are about a million suggestions at the moment. But what would everyone's thoughts be on the following donation rewards: A basic material store: Now there is a God faction, and with a couple of admins, it could be feasible. People would make green coin purchases for say, 20 stacks of smooth stone and post in a donations topic. Then when the next available god or admin notices it they can fulfil the deal. Obviously buying ores would be unbalanced, so it would be limited to things like grass blocks, food and basic building materials. Trans-world bases: I never really want to build anything too big as of late, as I live purgatory with all the MC updates and map resets. For the more frequent players, perhaps every time there is a world change they could pay coins to have their base MC-edited into the new world. It would be quite costly, with the idea that the larger factions have each of their members contribute to help cover the cost. This would also help in having huge creative bases with mazes and more intricate workings. The only down side is the transfer of materials. There would have to be rules to the transfer, such as no placing of ore blocks. Reserved Slots: Just an idea - I have no idea how practical it'd be in a real world. But on other servers I've seen if a donator connects whilst the server is full, a non donator is kicked from the session. You could sell 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 day slots. Coloured names: Doesn't appeal to me what-so-ever. But for some reason it's a big hit on other servers? Could be another avenue to increase donations. With the potential increase is donations, the server could be improved to accomodate more players in a stable environment as well as set up servers for other games and expand l4g

From my experience raiding. If you don't want to be dicked on, just give in to the raider's demands. When we raid it's (most of the time) got a reason behind it. Either you are painful to live with in chat, or you're building too close to us. There's usually something to set us on your case. Even though you may have nothing; we want revenge or for you to disband and move your shit. tldr: disband, move, start again, build it better, learn from your mistakes. Also, if you had any experience with faction wars, you'd know spawn killing is the only real method to destroy these spring-up-shanty factions that have 20 half witted players.

A lot of new faces on the server. And some people claiming they killed Rangers multiple times last map, even though we were only on for any mentionable amount of time when PVP was turned off. It's also flattering to see imitation factions cropping up, on our local map alone we have Xrangers and Awesomeo. You guys <3 Out of sheer boredom, we will occasionally be on this world, however we won't really be doing much. We hope to return to MC full force with the full release and new world. As much as I tend to dislike servers with such a feature, what would everyone's thoughts be on a whitelist?

What's everyone think about a rule of no water/lava cubes? Would force more creative structures and more intuitive ways of TNT proofing.

Kinda looks like the guy with the diamond sword killed it to me. This world I am no longer bothering with. It's at an awkward time for Rangers as we're all restarting university and such. I've only just got internet at my new house and Corby is enjoying Fresher's Week. Now the case is I don't want to continue to put effort into building when we'll undoubtedly be getting 1.9 soon and a new map.

Do you ever get the feeling you should just pack your virtual bags and make haste to a new community? If not, why not?

So, TheHello123 was having some issues. CASP had trapped him in their base, and because he was so painfully noobish I felt bad. I invited him to Rangers, neutral-ed CASP and let him get home before kicking. Following this act of altruism, I was met with words of abuse for not letting him stay in the faction. Not one to have my generosity jizzed back into my face. We did this:

You mean the floor and wall I had I rip up and move? Little fucker. Wish I was at freshers and you were building because you have nothing to do with your life. Even worse with the lag and map resets I farmed and placed the same 12 stacks of dirt 3 or 4 times. In other news, oblivion tnt'ed our wall to no consequence and claimed land where our grass was going to grow. Weegazza also wants me banned because I burnt him to death and stole his shit when he was running around our base. Administration is really lacking on this server, why am I not permabanned? Scrolls as a concept, does not excite me. I think it will be eclipsed by Minecraft. That said, what they achieved with this game is pretty amazing Also, I will be so sad if we have a reset. I have pretty much constructed this entire base by my self (eff you Corbs). But if it fixes the issues, then why not. Not like I've got anything better to do with my life. Edit: Nuke the thing.
