Thanks for all the feedback/applications 1.3 will be out next week probably, so I'll post in this thread what we'll all be doing for the first stages of building the base pretty soon Also after the first stage I'll be putting a select few of you in charge of certain things e.g. Wall construction, Stock Room management, building the levels etc: because its far too big for me and Awesomeo to lead absolutely everything

Yes. No it doesnt. You can use the Arma 2 demo. The only thing you NEED to buy is OA. By using the free demo you get low res textures, but it doesn't affect the game in any other way

My name, wow.. Before I registered on the forums, I wanted to come up with a perfect name I knew that I wanted to be a Dr. Something, and that it needed to be unique and memorable - That kind of rolls of your tongue. After much a long time of brain storming on the train with Peon, we settled on Doctor Minky, just because I really liked the sound of it. The lizard thing was just literally the first thing that popped into my head when I sat down to draw a profile picture

Cherno ughhhh you would not believe how annoyed I was last night After dying, I respawned in cherno and straight away found a commando backpack and a M1911. I then went into Cherno, and a guy was shooting meaning there were no zombies about. On the way to the hospital to get some blood for the guys, I climbed up an old factory and looked inside the window and saw a room filled with good weapons like AK's and M16s and stuff. Then my character bugged and slipped off the roof and killed me. :< :< :< :< :< As long as I can end up with that DMR back I'll be happy I think I'll stick to being recon support, since the game insists on breaking my bones and half killing me every time I walk through a bloody door

Its worth it if you ask me, if you can get a pound per hour of gameplay then its worth it in my opinion, hell you see a 1 and a half hour movie for like £7 these days anyway If anyone wants to come help me, now's a good time :> EDIT: Ded

Its confusing at first, I've only just got the hang of it all Heres all you need to know: Press shift to walk/run z to go prone x to crouch c to stand up G to open your menu screen, and right click on an item to use it (e.g. use a bandage if you are bleeding) Scroll to do lots of things - Change weapon, open doors, climb ladders, heal team mates etc. And finally press Enter on the num pad on the right of your keyboard to go into third person, this is VERY useful, and then press alt to look around without changing direction (glance over your shoulder to see zombies while running for example) Pay lots of attention to the bar on your right of the eye and the ear, youre gonna want to be VERY sneaky because you start off with no weapons, so you need to find a place that looks lootable, go prone and crawl inside to look for guns. While prone you have very low sound and visibility, so youre much less likely to be detected and can get very close to the zombies And when you DO get a gun, don't fire it unless you absolutely have to/know it is safe. If you fire once, you'll alert all the other zombies and then you'll get yourself into even deeper water. After you have a semi-decent grasp on the game and the controls come meet up with us guys EDIT: I'm at the north west airfield, the top side of the hangar near the bunker, Reaper said he can come pick me up in a van too but it would be good if someone could come meet up with me before hand anyway to give me some morphine (and possibly do a quick bit of looting in the bunker). Ill be on in a hour and a bit,

Okay well erm.. Heres the thing I got to the airfield with Reaper, he went to the sniping post to check things while I looted the houses, Then after finding a sweet LMG, my character glitched on a door and broke his leg I crawled all the way to the watch tower, found an awesome DMR sniper rifle and went on the lookout while Reaper looked for some morphine for me While I was crawling down the stairs to get to him after hed be looking around for a bit, my character glitched on the door AGAIN and started bleeding out, without showing the bleeding animation so I didnt notice untill I had 3000 health and the screen started to go white Then the server reset and Reaper got shot and his leg broken when he rejoined, and my character went into shock, but I had to leave while he went to rendevous with Clav So basically - I'm stuck in the airfield with 2000 blood, I pass out every minute and I have no pain killers or morphine or blood packs. Rescue mission anyone?
