I'm wondering whether or not I should buy this. Would you say you guys will keep on playing this game, or do you think its the type of think you'd play for a month or two and then get bored of? If I can get a good few months of gameplay out of it then id be happy to pay the £15,

If its so time consuming, and you barely play the game, why don't you find some new admins (which are needed anyway) and then eventually hand down the management of the MineCraft server to one of the admins? That is a serious suggestion, Because, to be be blunt, you don't really seem to care about what happens with the server aside from making everything 'mediocre' and getting a few donations in the process, which is understandable - I don't think anyone would expect you too for every single game - but then if you don't care about it or want to put time into it then why try and keep full control over it? The same way that Necrossin is are more responsible for the ZS/IW stuff. Things like the MineCraft server CAN'T be lead properly on your own, yet that is how it is done here while everywhere else has constant moderation and support to the players, to quote someone else who messaged me about this thread and while you say you don't want to lose members, the number of players on the server has already dropped significantly compared to how it used to be so another person told me. You find it hard to find admins as it is, but how can you even CHOSE admins for your server when you haven't seen them IG? The admins recruited are always people that you know on a friendly level and so trust, but you don't know the people on the server. As before, sorry if I appear rude, but just because you own the server I don't think that instantly means everyone should agree with you. If it's going to be run as a monarchy then why bother. I challenge you to a pokemon battle

But why is that even a problem, its not like you'd go looking for a Janitor and go pick Drainal or ZomBitch would you? The point was that you have moderators which are still trusted members who WOULDN'T do shit like that without having to be so picky as to hire admins as they would have much more restricted access to what they can do.. You'd only need like 3 or 4 janitors and you would have the entire server covered every single day, like normal servers are that actually bother to get admins and moderators

No, its not the gods faction, if you read it properly you would see that. But fine, you could even just strip world edit part, personally I dont think that is an issue as its not like moderators are your average Joe, but I dont see how you can look at this post with almost every single person saying its a good idea and just go 'nah' without even acknowledging any of the proposed ideas in it. NOPE. Thats stupid, ignorant and frankly just lazy considering the amount of potential donations there are in the MineCraft server and sheer number of players that REGULARLY go on here. I don't even play on the MineCraft server, yet I still put the effort in to do this and try to make it better for those that DO play it. Being the owner I would expect you to do the same Apologies if I come across as being rude.

Well I'd like to lead it, purely as unrelated to this thread I was setting up a new peaceful faction to build cool stuff anyway: regardless if I were to be chosen as a janitor or not - as I said, being in the faction and being a janitor wouldn't be a necessity I dont see the point in that, the people in the faction would just want to build and enjoy themselves, not create tons of different places as this would mean splitting up the faction and would generally not be very fun.. There could be a portal put to the janitors place if they want from spawn I guess, could be used as a trade place for people or something, but that doesnt really fit with the faction wars ethos

They wouldnt be based at spawn: It doesnt really fit with the feel of the faction wars server.. They would keep it maintained and looking nice, but wouldnt really build too much crap around there I don't think (unless asked to by Clav or something) And don't worry about who would get it. We've never had a problem with authority roles on this server before, I doubt it would now, they dont just recruit random nawbs that dont use the forums - and the janitors would have to talk to the admins because they would be reporting hackers and such.
