Heres a quick photo to show you what im up to..

still tweaking fog, env_environment, might change skybox working on 3d skybox and building architect at the moment

I scrapped my original Map ZS_Zepplin due to it continuously fucking up when I tried to change some Vertexes and moved on to a map more suited for my skill level.

It's eitehr gonig to be called ZS_Nucleus or ZS_Core

3 Words to describe the map so far: Warped Demonic Shithole

Working on the 3d skybox fog. working on the light_environment. fixing some decals, lighting and finishing off the basic structure

Got some more pics.. as you see i am still making the basics and still tweaking 3dskybox and fog atm fps is 60+ no optimizing

What in gods name are you making

Also Clavus, is it possible for the contesters to give their map to you once it's done (before the ultimate deadline), for testing on Mr-green?

That's exactly what I ask myself halfway the mapping process :V

My ZS maps tend to be slightly surreal.

Can we make weird maps, getting out of the "realistic" context? (Bah, Clavus makes huge towers, long mazes with barrel stocks and a big structure with corridors :V So why not? )

That doesn't really matter. Although it IS a rather cheap way to make something imo.

I have a lot more fun with mapping when I go for a surrealistic style.

I have a lot more fun with mapping when I go for a surrealistic style.

What I mean is, the lay-out makes no sense, and doesn't have a story behind it. You just make it. That's why it's in that way "cheap". Anyone can do it.

Although gameplay > story

One day, the sky turned green and some humans took refuge in an underground bunker/labyrinth thing. Zombies came and ate the humans.
