I am the dissapoint at your choice of OS there Mr.Nut.

What about mine? :V

Nice, be wary when installing graphics card drivers though

Got it all fixed :)

Minecraft works better on Linux than on Windows for me :P

Java is really bugged in Windows, so I have to reboot to Linux to play the game :P

My new monster trap

Monsters are carried down into this machine (LAVATRON X5) where loot is separated from them and dispensed automatically. You can hear a loud ssssss and know that you have loot!

Oh you :V

I've got a nice trap connected to a skeleton spawn, which means free arrows :V

This is outside the house I built on top of the spawn

This is a bit closer, where you can see the path to another house.

my indicator outside the house, and the door.

The skeleton spawn itself has water in it, and it flows down to the drowning section, (image below) where they drown and drop arrows on the wooden pressure plates

When arrows are dropped, the indicator lights up.

Gotten hundreds of arrows from this trap, it's perfect :]

I know I could've done the wiring under the ground, but w/e :P

Nice!

The problem with my trap currently is that the mobs always spawn somewhere else >.<

Have you actually searched for a dungeon with a cage in it and connected it to your trap?

I found the dungeon randomly, and I built a trap next to it, then built a house on top.

I've found 4 dungeons on that save, this one is quite special

There was 2 dungeons connected to each other. Both spawns spiders. I've set up cactuses over the whole floor area, and there's a water pit in the middle.

post-485-128541522586_thumb.png

Spiders always jump, so you can't drown them.

The spiders jump towards the middle while being hurt by the cactus, and they land in the pit in the middle, where they try to jump out of the water, only to hit their heads into the cactus at the sides.

Got a cave that leads into this room, under the waterpit. The doors prevent the water from flowing in.

Here you can see the spiders splashing in the water. Every time they jump up they loose 1 hp.

Just a reminder: I'm setting up the Minecraft server from time to time to play. Catch is that it only stays online for as long as I am because the server needs constant restarting because of the performance leaks.

There are another few things:

* Do not ask me to put up the Minecraft server.

* Do NOT ask me to put up the Minecraft server.

* Every time you do I'll delay it by 15 minutes.

* If the Minecraft server is up, I'll announce it on IRC.
