We call that Gammon here I was under the impression (merely from French lessons) that jambon is ham, not gammon I think its sort of both, having actually been to france and asked for jambon and chips and getting gammon and chips, but also ham being sold in the supermarkets there as Jambon as well. It seems to be more meaning that cut of pork rather than individual products.
This seemed to be a hot topic in the IRC, which I thought I would bring to everyone else. It's quite simple, do you like bacon or not? I personally love bacon, more than sausages. (fyi, if you don't you're weird and/or gay)
