  2. Barricading may seem more like the way to survive because zombies are more dangerous now. I am fully aware of this and the reason for most of the zombie buffs is because you could only be truly effective by prop-killing which may sound alright for some regulars but for the mass of players it was a problem. I want to make it so a player does not need prop-killing to have some effectiveness against the humans. The reason the fast zombie became more powerful is because It is intended to be the optimal class for runners which it was not. All I can say is just carry on while the mod becomes rebalanced for humans and zombies in a more enjoyable way for both humans and zombies while keeping the ability to survive running or barricading.
  3. Ywa is attempting to improve current ZS and Deluvas is currently sketching ideas out for the new one. Don't bother suggesting anything for new ZS because it is pointless. On an actual useful note here are some bugs that need fixing. Humans can run backwards at the same speed as forwardsWhen a human spawns they can throw their weapons down and immediately get new stuff apparentlyYou can still have a limited amount of ammo so if you have maximum and buy more you don't actually get the ammo.
  4. What's the problem exactly? I might get rid of the infected models and use the normal zombie models for the new general/standard/classic class. It's using the player's playermodel hands and most of them are mangled up. I would appreciate if they were normal zombie like they used to be.
  5. The purpose of fast zombies is to hunt down and kill runners and people who are in spots other zombie cannot reach. If this is executed correctly is another conversation. I am not exactly familiar why Infected have completely replaced Normal Zombies neither. For those that don't know, Infected A.K.A Fresh Dead as they are originally known are supposed to be what humans get transformed into when they get killed. They are basically a downgraded normal zombie but with the victims player model and are supposed to be in the middle of the stage of human and zombie. Why this has been available as a zombie class to choose I have no idea. Im not too sure I agree or disagree about this decision. My only problem with them is the ugly view model they have. The whole zombie roster is strange and messed up for the worse in my opinion and the quality of most of the mod is not helping the situation. I just wanted to clarify some stuff and nothing else.

  7. By "Pay to Win" he means that you can purchase skill points using green coins. On another note if you are going to make prop-killing even more deadlier to the point that anything will kill you in one hit causing the attempt to attack humans normally to be rendered completely useless may I suggest removing the "Fall Down" effect where you fall down and can't do anything.
  8. If there are any bugs or problems regarding somethings in current Zombie Survival please post them here for now on. Do not post suggestions for new things or any other information that no doubt we have already seen in several generic "my zs suggestions!" topics such as "good suggestions" or "what about refunds and classes". This should be about making current Zombie Survival less horrid by using what already exists and not suggesting new things until a completely new mod could be released. Make it look like this: Remove the blood overlay around the zombie HUD.Use 3.0 Zombie SWEPS.Remove ironsights.Double accuracy of all weapons.Increase Headshot Multiplier to 2.Make Reiska admin.Check if Katana is actually considered a melee for the "Freemans Spirit" perk.Change the view model for the Fresh Dead hands back to Zombie hands as they look terrible with most player models. Set the "SP Bounty" accordingly to the following: Fresh Dead - 25Headcrab - 15Fast Zombie - 25Wraith - 20Poison Zombie - 50Zombine - 40Howler - 25Poison Headcrab - 20Remember that these are not actual "fixes" for broken things but are what I believe would improve the quality of the mod.

  10. The current state of this zs is beyond salvation from my point of view. It is filled with bugs and horrible game mechanics that only have negative effects on the mod. Fixing it would probably be very time-consuming and stressful because it's covered in code by several coders over many years and has been constantly changed and twisted. From what I see, the best option is to start from scratch and code on the 3.0 base. This base is polished with no problems and will no doubt be a far easier job for anyone. The overall quality is superior such as the zombie sweps and well balanced weapons. All that would have to be done is make it so barricading and the arsenal crate obsolete. But this is just my opinion.
  11. The map allows for any player to pick up cargo containers and do what they wish. Because it's a feature in the map it's not illegal.

  14. Spent a while this evening retexturing, new skybox, new 3d skybox and lighting. The 6 lamps make the floor too bright for my liking which I will change.

  18. Fixed. The server was trying to play zs_zombienowhere_v3 but for some reason the bsp is not on the server which is strange. I removed the map for now anyways.

  23. Finished the game on easy and now im halfway through normal.
  24. Gonna take about 5000 years to get on gamefront and download it because of the slowness.
