  2. You seem so sure of yourself I actually hate to break it to you, but it's type="server" :P Ah, I'll try that when I get home in a few hours. Why would it be server instead of client? Couldn't really find any descriptive answers.
  3. Is the beta different or something? Cuz I was playing BF3 online fine yesterday... Game sucked so I stopped. Someone sent me a key to redeem in Origin and it all worked out fine. I'm guessing the open beta started today and everybody's trying to get onto it?
  4. Trying to get the teleportation stuff going in Awesome Coaster 2, but I'm having some issues. I tried Emanuel's/Bin's script here (also pasted below), but it doesn't work. Yes, I added the "<script src="teleport.lua" type="client" />" line in my meta.xml file. It's simply not working. When I hit the checkpoint, I'm expecting it to take me to the new location, but it doesn't do anything at all. Any ideas? Would rather stick to using checkpoints instead of individual markers.

  6. Working on Awesome Coaster 2... When adding upgrades="0" to my .map, the MTA map editor will NOT load it. It'll just say at the bottom that it's loading (blue background for the text), and MTA will freeze. Even after removing that little bit of code, it'll still do that until I completely clear out the upgrades="0" thing. The original wheels look kinda nice on the vehicle that will be in the map, so I'm not too worried about it, as everything works without upgrades="0".

  9. I have to say that the funniest part was in the "without Skrillex" version at 1:15 (Waka Waka > Yoshi'a schnappi map).
  10. Finally done with this little video. Over an hours worth of footage (110GB of FRAPS recordings) compacted into a 5 minute video. Rendered 2 different uncompressed 1080p files (were about 35GB a pop), then compressed to a 500MB H.264 with Handbrake. 1080p quality is excellent. Regular: One without Skrillex (just the game audio and whatever music I was listening to; sorta funny): Watch in 1080p if your Internet can handle it. Here's what Sony Vegas looked like after it was finished: ENJOY!

  17. I doubt this, original isn't much more luck based than average map (let's say 20% and 45%). And you need less skills for rollercoaser, just flat out and here you go. Yeah but in Never The Same you have anything like Combine Harvesters and RC Goblins. While this version mostly features cars that are proper to race with. There's only 1 CP that will give you only RC vehicles. Most of the CPs will give you anything (RC cars, fast cars, tanks, etc). Most of the CPs that are before or on the coaster track will give you only fast cars. The red CPs will give you an Infernus.

  22. I'm here to complain some more. I still have absolutely no understanding as to why WTF Yo still isn't in the server. It's a good map (with the update, which removes a lot of the barrels). It's just a simple get-in-and-go bike race. What's the problem, Mr. Bin?
  23. That makes no sense at all. But.....it does Agreed. Makes no sense. Quite immature and idiotic to say such a thing anyway, as most haters have never watched a race or have even been to one. But anyway, I've been wanting to make something like this for a while. Just haven't done it yet... Will come soon (by the end of the year, at least).
